When i saw your question i was tempted to pass it by because i never really thought about the concept of what Heaven (or Hell) would be like for me, as being all that important to me - i never really thought about it! Then i started thinking .........
To answer it i have to think about what the name Heaven actually means to me and i think you could be right - definitely magical!
i feel we all go to a place in spirit, after the body has died, to a place that we create with our expectations and beliefs - i call the the very best and nicest place 'Heaven' and the worst place anyone could think of 'Hell' - to my mind, they are the same place, just the opposite aspects of each other.
Since everyone has a different idea of what they would like the 'home of spirit' to be - there must be as many different pictures of Heaven and Hell as there are ideas - from non existent, to the most evil, to the most elaborate angelic realm. And for so many different pictures to be created is certainly magical!!!.
I would like Heaven or Hell for me to be a big surprise and when i see where i am - i would then like to see just how my thoughts have created my idea of Heaven/Hell. And then, if i am not satisfied, maybe i could then rethink my ideas and change my experience.
( What you believe is true - for you).

I believe heaven is many different experiences of things. It has many many rooms according to the scripture. Maybe each one is different. One thing is sure - it's infinate.
I believe floors walls and ceilings are made of precious stones. Rooms are set aside for all kinds of worship, fun, discovery etc. There will be music that you can taste - colours that you can feel etc. Our minds can't comprehend it all while we are here on earth. There is an endless number of things to experience and learn.

blessings :)

I picture it without some of my closest friends... =[[ who don't believe completely in God and I'm trying my hardest to get them to believe and prove it to them.

I picture Heaven with no frustration, no stormy weather, no worries or ailments, no money issues, just a perfect, peaceful environment to worship God.

I also picture us socializing with everyone else, with no shyness or forgetting what to say.

With rays of sunlight from every single direction...

That would be amazing!

I picture it as Planet H (Heaven) in another solar system. Harmony-loving people, and of course Harmony-loving neighbors. - Eternal life because it had evolved into eternal life, being that it was formed shortly after the Universe was formed 13.7 billion years ago.

Log cabin by a calm lake... fish jumping. Gentle sunsets with soft breezes. My favorite dog sitting by my side. Can't wait to see my dad, and the ones there before me.

Jesus says that He goes to prepare a place for me and that He will come back. Can't wait to see what HIS idea of heaven is.

It's going to have the best music I ever heard...the most beautiful colors, colors we've not seen before. Think of the best things you can think of on this earth, Heaven will be WAY better than that.

I always, always, don't know why, well I do know why, but it's ridiculous, picture standing on clouds, angels with harps, golden streets, blue skies, etc. I never picture land, or mountains and trees and stuff. I suppose TV and movies dictate too much to us, huh?
