I'm not Venezuelan and Hugo's public persona is that of an insignificant clown that does nothing unless it helps him politically. Hitler was described by many foreign visitors as charming, etc and Hugo's policies are strikingly similar to National Socialism that Hitler stood for. So whether or not a politician is likable doesn't matter a whole lot.

Funny, I don't remember any representative of his government knocking on my door to drop off any gas at my doorstep...
Hugo...is a communist, pure and simple. The fact that he gave us some gas (true or not) would have only been done because he's trying to draw to support for that form of government. Since communism is all about making everyone equally miserable, I have no interest in it at all. Any American with a brain in their head should feel the same way.

It really doesn't matter if he's communist or a dictator, he's an idiot who couldn't even read a children's book to a class. He's nothing but a clown and while news of his actions are funny they are also scary because of the fact that he's running a country. If he was communist and a good, smart leader, I could care less if he was communist because I am not affected by the government scapegoating of communism.

it wasn't gasoline, it was low grade , high sulfur fuel oil that couldn't be sold on the open market because it would take more to refine it than it was worth. It never got delivered, and that mass murdering pedophile knew it wouldn't.

I would like him if he was not as extremist and impotent. Also he should use his views to improve his country's condition, not the set it against the world power. Not very smart thing to do.
