I think it was a couple squirts of flavored syrup then finished with a seltzer or soda or what was it? Do you remember other drinks that are no longer made?

Here in Texas we have 'Braums' where they make burgers and all , but they also have a variety of ice-cream and they make Sodas,Malts,, Freezes,Shakes, Sundaes and Banana splits. They also sell great tasting dairy products along with other grocery items.

Yes it was what you said, it was also known as a soda. I was also a sida jerk for 10 yrs I managed a shop for those 10 yrs. Do you remember Egg creams?

egg creams. I was a jerk too. Do they still make frappes or milk shakes or ice cream sodas or banana splits? All I see are these unimaginably emulsified drinks from Dunkin Donuts.
Oh and cherry cokes from scratch and vanilla cokes and lemon cokes.
