Go to a book store and browse the cook books looking for those that have some simple recipes. Once you master the easy ones try something harder. If you lick chicken try finding the book "365 Ways To Cook Chicken". Most of the recipes are not to hard and it is a lot of fun trying different things. If you want to get into more of the intricacies of cooking go for "The Joy of Cooking".

This is an easy, delicious and cheap recipe. One Jiffy mix cornbread mix prepared for cooking according to package directions. Spead cornbread batter in small cast iron skillet. Add one can of chili without beans, spreading to edges of batter. Sprinkle 8 oz. of shredded cheddar over this and bake at 350 degrees until cornbread is done.

Try spaghetti all you have to do is cook some ground hamburger meat until the red is gone, boil some spaghetti noodles until tender and then add in the spaghetti sauce of choice that is in the jar, mix all of this together in the same pan of course after the meat is throughly cooked and the noodles are fully boiled and drained, mix all together and your done. open a can of corn to go along with it and serve some type of bread with it i prefer the frozen garlic bread all you have to do is bake it in the oven until brown and your set for dinner. This is a whole meal thet uses only 5 things the meat, noodles, spaghetti sauce, corn, and bread hope this helped some and good luck.
