Does anyone have a recipe for making your own dog food?

With all the pet food recall you don't know what is in the pet food you buy. I don't want to kill my dog with what I am feeding her!!

I mix
chicken mince
boiled rice or pasta
Mixed veges (pre frozen packet)
garlic, rosemary, parsley etc
choped chicken liver, hearts, giblets

they also get raw chicken frames, necks and wing tips
and alot of veges : carrots broccolli, cauliflour etc

I make my own dog food so I know what they are eating!!!

Your dogs health will benefit from you making there food and they will live a longer, healthier life.

My main ingredient is beef, Iook around for a pet food butcher and you can buy cheap beef from them most of the time there isn't anything wrong with the beef except the cow had a pimple (or something etc..) and the authorities said it's no good for human consumption.

My local guy also occasionally sells venison and kangaroo (I live in Australia!) Once the meat is diced up and boiled you can add rice or pasta, add a bowl of soup to the beef so you can have beef and minestrone. Try different type's of soup for a variety for your dog. Make sure their is no onion powder in the soup that you purchase as this is no good for you little one. You can give them beef with a jar of red sauce (as long as it doesnt' contain onions.

I do a huge cook up once a week and freeze their meals into individual containers ready to take out for the dinner everynight.

When you can afford it treat them to some chicken meat or silverside leftovers.

My vet gave me some special oil to mix in with there food but they won't eat anything with this oil in it.

this is a simple one i have a chihuahua 1/2 c of boiled chicken,boil in bag brown rice,no salt noseasonings of any kind ,chop up the chicken into small pieces and add brown rice and let cool and feed.
