I am 5 feet and weigh 130. I am currently eating 2200 calories a day. i work out 5x week (3 with strength/weight training). I want to cut down to 1300 calories a day so i can lose weight. is this okay?this is what a typical day would be:
br. soy milk with cereal and blue berries.

snakc. cottage cheese or soycheese

lunch. chicken and small salad with tables spoon of oil and vinegar

snack. half a sandwich 30z turkey and soy cheese

dinner.chicken (or eggs, lean beef. salmon) with veggies and 1/4 rice or 1 bread.

AND LOTS OF WATER AND TEA.
is this good enough to sustain and loseweight?

that is way too drastic of a decrease in calories. you only need to create a 500 calorie a day deficit from both the diet and increase in exercise. the body does not like drastic changes, it will hold on too fat stores with such a drop in cals and you will lose a lot of muscle that way. decrease the cals slowly then when fat loss starts stay at that caloric intake until fat loss slows then you can decrease the cals again slightly.

With your level of activity, I'd suggest you eat at least 200 more calories than that.

Absolutely. You'll lose quickly on that plan.
