Yes, I have some ideas that might help. If there is an open cavity, putting salt directly on the cavity, or swishing mouth with warm salt water will ease pain. This works in connection with pain killers. The best pain killer I have found for my own tooth pain is ibuprofen. This can be varied with acetaminophen. Even the children's doses of these help ease some of the pain. By themselves, pain killers don't seem to help at first, but I learned that gradually after a few hours they started to build up till a reasonable comfort level was achieved. Once comfort is achieved DO NOT let pain killers run down, keep that level up--tell your dad that it is only temporary until the dental appointment Monday. Also, you can pick up a small bottle of Bach Rescue Remedy at your local health store. This is a mixture of natural essences that actually calm acute stress and pain. This helped me very much at first. Along with all of these ideas remember the old standbys of cinnamon, peppermint, clove oil. Put these right on the tooth with a cotton ball. I also found putting warmth next to my face helped soothe some of the discomfort. Any combination of these ideas work. I have used them and found them helpful. Good luck, I hope all goes well with your dad and his dentist visit Monday.

Yes :) it looks beautiful but I would probably build another house on the property to rent to people as a vacation home or something like that :) gotta make sure I can keep the property forever :) Id absolutely love an island and Ireland is beautiful and im very much into traveling! Actually you know what id keep the big house get rid of the others and make a small castle inspired house and just make it a small awesome oasis :P

1) Clove Oil Compress
Clove oil contains eugenol, a natural pain killer and antibacterial. Mix 2 to 3 drops of pure clove oil with 1/4 teaspoon olive oil. Saturate a cotton ball with the mixture and place the cotton ball beside the tooth.

If the toothache involves a molar at the back of your mouth, you can bite down gently on the cotton ball to keep it in place. Leave it there for as long as possible (but don't go to sleep with it in your mouth.) Pain relief should begin quite rapidly.

Side effects
Undiluted clove oil inside the mouth can causing burning, tissue or nerve damage, and pain. In large doses, clove oil taken orally can cause vomiting, sore throat, seizure, difficulty breathing, kidney failure, or liver damage.

Children, pregnant or nursing women, and people with diabetes, kidney or liver disease or bleeding disorders should avoid taking clove oil.

2) Activated Charcoal Compress
Activated charcoal is available at many drug stores and natural health food stores.

Mix two teaspoons of activated charcoal powder with just enough water to make a paste. Apply it to a piece of gauze and place the gauze on the tooth. Bite down.

DO NOT PLACE ASPIRIN ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE GUM! You will only burn the gum around the tooth. It will do absolutely do nothing for the pain. This is a remedy that is absolutely not true.

Yes, if you have an aspirin, put it directly along the outside of the gum where the tooth is. It works to ease the pain almost immediately.
