If you really work at it you might be able to get it back, but odds are it will never be exactly the same. After my second pregnancy I lost all the weight by my six week checkup, but I couldn't wear my prepregnancy pants. I'm now 5 months post partum and am still only back into two pairs (the ones with stretch), and still have a bit hanging over the top. The skin is looser and has jello-like tendencies. Ahhhh, I have to stop dwelling on it now or my mood will be ruined for the rest of the night. Good luck to you.

Umm nothing ever quite went back to before. I never had a problem getting into prepregnancy jeans as I fit into them the whole pregnancy. I only gained 11 lbs with my son and got stretch marks way towards the end. Well when I left the hospital I weighed less than prepregnancy but the stretch marks never went away. The stomach flattened out and the muscles came back but I still always have an extra little bit of saginess in the stomach and the breasts will never be quite that perky. It's been 2 1/2 years and now I'm pregnant again so I'm just hoping nothing gets worse.

I had my son just over a year ago. I was 19 then, almost 21 now. I gained a total of 65 pounds through the pregnancy (he was 9 1/2 pounds). I lost it all within 2 weeks, but the bottom of my stomach is droopy from being so inflated. I know 40 year olds with 6 kids that look better than me. Also, since I don't have money to go to the gym anymore, I haven't done anything besides walk since my son was born. It depends on your body type what happens with you. I have 6 siblings and all but 1 are overweight. Also, I feel like since I was pregnant I'm more hungry now and I don't seem to have the will power like I used to. Good luck I hope it works out for you!

I have had three kids, I'm 34 and I am still in a size four jeans. It takes hard work. I have bowflex. The key is to as soon as you clear your six week check up after birth is to start working out right away. You are going to be running around anyways so your energy level will be up..so take advantage of that... If your up at 3am feeding...do some sit ups. Don't just sit there.

After my 1st baby (vaginal birth, I was 18), I used mederma on stretchmarks and it lightened them alot. It took a long time to lose the baby weight because I gained alot thanks to bedrest. My 2nd baby, was a c-section at 25 years old, and my stomach is still not back to normal after 2 1/2 years. Breastfeeding helps get rid of the baby weight somewhat, but those girls will not ever look the same again unless you have surgery.

If you get strechmarks, they never go away completely though they do fade. My stomach at 10 months post partum is nearly back to normal. I still have a little extra skin, but it seems to keep shrinking as the months go by. Of course, it helps to excersice and eat right too. Good luck and congratulations on the baby.

you might have the stomach you had before my sister did and my sister in law did but i did not... i gained 50+ pounds with my pregnancy and now i still have about 15-20 pounds left to lose. i breastfed and now my breasts are saggy and smaller than what they were (which were a small b to begin with)my body is sooo not the same but i would not change it for the world.. my son was and is worth all the extra skin and saggy breasts... just wait until you see their face. you'll understand
