I am a 39 year old mother. I have raised two 17 year old daughters and I have an 8 year old son. But due to family arguments someone keeps calling DFCS on us this has happened twice and it is tearing my family apart. I want to start a support group for families that are in the similar situation and maybe get the laws changed because they wont tell you who does it. But if I was raped, you can bet your *** the person I accuse would know my name. Would any one be interested in talking and seeing is we can get the laws changed. By the way I have submitted to both drug test and they were negative. Dont send get an attorney, that cost way to much and they protect the person accusing you would be wasting your time trying to get one. Please let me know if there are more of you out there that is tired of the system.

YES .. there are PLENTY of us out here who are SICK AND TIRED of DCFS and its problems .. and the fact that I know PERSONALLY of quite a few people falsely targeted (and some deliberately -- but the individual who files these false complaints is NEVER prosecuted!).

I'd like to see more OVERSIGHT on the DCFS investigators -- and if something that they have written does NOT make sense -- these Oversight persons SHOULD be able to recommend that DCFS investigators be PROSECUTED to the Fullest Extent of the Law when they are falsifying complaints, endangering a Disabled Parent, or any other crimes (including covering up the criminal activity of those under their custody -- and yes, I was victimized by being BURGLARIZED by a relative in THEIR custody -- and the DCFS investigator LAUGHED and said "I have NO Responsibility to YOU (meaning me) ... and MY only position is responsibility to the Child and making sure they don't commit any crimes (HEY -- guess what DCFS Investigator/Caseworker -- YOU KNOW of the CRIME -- and yes, you SPONSORED it, and KNOW that MY STOLEN Property was in the Placement -- and then ALLOWED it to be transported OUT OF STATE to the Deadbeat (and convicted abuser no less!) so-called parent -- you know, the one you SPONSORED and HELPED with the Burglary!)

By the way .. DCFS DOES Protect those who file FALSE Complaints -- they DELIBERATELY do that -- it is like the STAR COURTS of the worst of the 'purges' of Stalinist Regimes .. and that is NOT acceptable. ONE SHOULD be TOLD WHO is filing the complaint -- so that you can EASILY Solve this problem .. and yes, file the Restraining/Protective and/or No-Trespass Orders against the one filing the FALSE complaints.

Your so right about the system with DCFS or CPS whatever you want to call it, it amounts to the same thing, a government orginization that can legally make a persons life living h*ll. I have done my battles with them before too and it amazes me that while it is one of our constitutional rights to face our accuser when it comes to something like that our rights are over looked. I have also found out that there is no way that you can really fight them either, they are always right even if it means to make a bold faced lie to a judge to have your children removed! One told a judge that the police department had found my kids left alone and was able to get them removed on that basis. Yes the cops did come out because they had recieved a report that my kids were alone, broke in through a window (i don't blame them one bit for that) but did not find them alone because they were with me at ANOTHER family services office. When i saw that on the paper work that CPS had given me when they took my kids i called the case worker and asked why it said that when it wasn't true. She said it was on the police report! Police reports are a public record so not only did i have a copy of the report when it was time for court i had also brought the detective that was supposed to have found them alone as a wittness. CPS didn't even bother bringing that up in court and when the judge who happened to be a former lawyer for CPS, brought it up the case worker just shrugged and said that it had been a mistake! I got my kids back that day and CPS tried to take them again by going at another angle. The same time all this was going on a 3 year old had been taken in to the emergency room numersous times by her grandmother with bruises, cuts and broken bones, CPS was called but "couldn't find any reason to suspect abuse". A week after the last time she was taken in she was admitted with a fractured skull and broken ribs. She was dead in 2 days and the police investigation turned up that her step father, a sheriffs deputy, had been beating her with his black jack and CPS let it slide!!!!

I know that i am fed up and tired of the system and i am sure that there is others out there that is to!

As for what the first poster said, no they do not ignore any one that calls no matter how many times they call. I did find out who had called and how many times they called after a bit of detective work on my own. The woman had called both CPS and the police a total of 600 times in 6 months. Also a rapist knows who is accusing them but women haven't stopped reporting it, in fact more and more women are reporting it!

Funny thing is when i moved a couple of blocks away the calls stopped. Weird huh?

Wow, I thought I was the only one....I am 38 y/o and am going through the same thing. When DYFS came to my home I was actually expecting them as I knew my own mother called on me. I talked to the DYFS worker and explained to her what was going on in the family. She was understanding and the calls were unfounded and she told me that she would flag my case for anymore phone calls. It is sad when people abuse the system like that and it is nerve racking for us to have to go thorugh it. If you start a support group add me on!!!!

Yes, the system has problems. Try to look at it this way. If the informer was known, no one would ever tell and some kids really really need to be rescued. Also, (and this happened to my sister) after a certain number of false alarms, DFCS ignores the person calling in.

it all comes down to funding!cps (like police depts) have to use all of the funding they receive for that quarter or they won't get as much the next time because "it's not needed" so,they have to do a certain amout of investigations even if they don't convict,to keep getting the most amount of funds they can. does it surprise you that everything always comes down to money?human life isn't what's important!!! cps has ruined my life and my whole family's lives just for money,yes-i believe it. cps inspected my house and my whole life down to the day i was born and placed my niece and nephew in my care, when they possibly unjustly took them from my brother, they knew my whole life already, yet when my sister couldn't take my niece and nephew(that i'm now trying to adopt) from me because cps found me more capable, cps still allows the false claims, and they know the situation!! count me in for any support group we can start!
