I liked this girl a lot a year ago, and I know she liked me back. Unfortunately, I had to move across the city, so nothing ever happened. I kept thinking about her, but now she's going out with another guy and she's changed. She cares about popularity and less of her friends. How do I get over her? I currently like another girl, but this one is just someone I can't let go. It's depressing, and I find that I can't do anything but sleep sometimes, hoping that I'd wake up and everything never changed. Help me!

Honey,I'm sorry to tell you this but you never will get over her.
How can you get over someone you liked but never had a chance to really get to no or have sex with. In you mind
you have put her on a pedestal.Until you get to no this girl and see that she isn't what you make her out to be then no other girl has a chance with you.Your going to compare every girl you
are with, with the one that got away.

Maybe you should talk to her or maybe even arrange to see her. Maybe seeing the changes that she has made up close and in person will make you see how opposite she it of you. You need to clear the air. Ask yourself and be honest with yourself why do I still like this girl. It is crazy how we always want what we can't obtain.

Hey man it happens to everyone. I still think about this girl I dated everyday, even though we broke up over half a year ago. You shouldn't try to just forget about her. That would just make you think about her more. Just accept who she is now, and try to go on and live your life. I know that you can't stop thinking about her now, and youll probably think about her for the rest of your life, but you can't just dwell on that. You've got a life to live, so go live it. Hope this helps.

like you said yourself, this girl has changed. she is not the same girl that you liked a year ago, she no longer exists! so you just need to face up to that, because it is the reality. and of course you can get over this. it's great that you like someone else now, you should focus on her and that should help you in realising that this girl is gone and you don't need her to be happy.

you sound like me a year ago. i got over this girl i met in april 2005 and was madly in love, and for 4 seasons i was in misery. i got over her by realising that if she were right for me she would be having tea with me now. the fact she is not, tells me she is not right for me, and that there's some other girl who is much better waiting out there . move on, you could be missing out by hanging on to nothing but thin air.

I think that you just aren't LETTING yourself get over her. Maybe you're in love, who knows. Everyone takes a different amount of time for these things, it's just life babe!! I hope your new girl is even better :-)

She doesn't know that you like her that much or she would be running towards you.
So,let her know. She did like you that is why you need to let her know. She may think that you have forgotten her and that your new city life is more exciting than her.

ouch i feel really sorry for you. this happened to me: i liked this guy for two years, and we dated about three times. but after a while i got sick of waiting for him. give it some time, she will pass. and try to forget her, get a hobby, join a club at school; anything that will get your mind off her.
