Seems like you need to be the bigger person in this issue. He may say this stuff because he is scared. Just keep the lines of communication open. When the baby is born do the DNA test right away so he cannot say the child is not his. But above all, don't say anything negative to him. As he should respect the mother of his child you should respect the father of yours. Don't sink to his level.

Why would a person want joint custody of a baby that he says is not his? Is he that stupid? Why would his girlfriend want your baby? To shut him up tell him that you will give him full custody and watch what happens. Don't sign any papers just mess with his head. Stay away from him while you are pregnant. Babies can feel stress. Forget what he told everyone and their mothers, keep a smile on your face and don't let him or her see you down. Babies are a blessing and everything will work out in your favor.
So, poke out that baby belly and walk proud!!

You sure chose a winner, didn't you? After the baby is born, get a DNA test. Worry about joint custody when the time comes. You need to use better judgment. You are now tied to this loser for at least 18 years.

OK, if it isn't his, how does he plan on getting joint custody? This jerk is playing you. Get a DNA and prove he is the father. Then, set up a reasonable visitation schedule. Chances are this idiot won't keep the visitation schedule anyway, but the court will see to it that he pays child support.

visitation, yes. joint custody, NO. by him telling everyone that the baby isn't his shows lack of concern for you, the baby's mother and also shows his immaturity to take care of a newborn and give him the nurturing love the baby will need. not someone who denies his upcoming responsibilities is capable of that.

He is real jerk. I don't think you can just tell him no though. If it is his baby, he will have the right to see it. Of course you will have the right to child support too.

Omg.
How could he say that...
First... is it his? If your positive... then you should wait 5 more months. when the baby's born take a blood test. If he refuses then tell the autorities that he's not willing to take a blood test. That should work.
good luck,

He will have to accept paternity and if you fight it...he'll have to prove paternity... and if he does...sorry but he will have access to the baby.... but joint custody depends on your state. It's not what you say...it's what the judge says... sorry.
