I am a 22 year old white male going to Guangzhou, China for three months. How are caucasian people treated there? I have heard we are treated like "gods" by the women there....any truth to that?

I heard these from some native Chinese girls before:
1. Walking together with a foreign white boy friend makes them feel proud superficially, especially if you are from countries like US, UK, and Canada. Having a foreign white boy friend makes them feel that they are better and more attractive than other Chinese girls that are having a Chinese boy friend.
2. Having a foreign white boy friend opens up their chance of immigranting to the boy friend's foreign country. Some Chinese girls think that anything foreign is better. And they would like to be living in your country, eat the food that you eat, shop at the stores that you shop, and make the money that you make.
3. Having a foreign white boy friend makes them feel that they are smarter than other Chinese girls, and that they can communicate in a foreign language.
4. Having a foreign white boy friend also mean that they might get money from you, espeically if you are an older white guy who is more economically stable.
5. Chinese girls do treat you like "gods" if they see benefits from you. You might be their gold mine.

Although I live in Shanghai and am married, I do travel down south to Guangzhou frequently. You will be tolerated by Chinese men and liked by Chinese women (espcially if you are single, good looking, and confortably well off). You will be very popular at discos and clubs with the young ladies, but be careful since some will see you looking like either an ATM or green card. Be safe, you should have a good time.

Poorly by most men and very well by almost all woman. The Chinese government is not very fond of caucasians but will tolerate them. By the way you are right about the treated like god part. I have never lived in China but I have watched a documentary on a blonde haired whiteman in North Korea and he had a son with a white woman. The son is almost like a super star there since he is blonde with blue eyes not being racist or saying that white blondes are superior over other races, it's just that when something is rare then it is desirable. Even if you are not blonde the fact that you are white is going to score you big with smoking hot asian chicks. Good luck but be careful.

Hi, just back from China. Not only the whites are treated as gods. Anyone that flash a credit card, give good tips are treated with respect. Good looking caucasians are especially welcomed though,

I pass to China on a familiar consumer-friendly and refer to numerous American instructors who stay in China finished time. I for one have in no way had any issues whilst i became in China. I stay for 30 days at a time and then i'm long gone returned to the US. the lecturers I refer to relish coaching there and the only issues I hear are the familiar bitching approximately site visitors and the conventional issues human beings ***** approximately. I even have not heard of all and sundry being mistreated whilst in China. My guess is that each physique and sundry who felt they have been mistreated may well be long gone returned to their residences in what ever usa they got here from as quickly as they might organize air fare. I even have been coming to China considering 2007 and in no way had the 1st sign of a difficulty.

They will treat you well if you have money and power. Chinese women treat all men well as they are taught from birth. Good luck and have a safe trip.
