I asked this question earlier, and got a few bible quotes quotes... Do these people not know how to read either?

Can you prove to me, that there is a god and a heaven without using the bible> Some poor lady said that the answer was all around me, and that I started as a seed in my mother's womb. Gee, is that as good as it gets?

Even if they used the bible, the bible is not proof of anything other than some con men made up a religion with ideologies plagiarized from other older religions.

The world is so complex, we think people that understand science such as physics are really, really smart. If it takes intelligence to understand it, do you really believe it could all be some magical happy coincidence or must it take an even greater intelligence to create such complex things? Have you ever stood under a starry sky and felt humbled by it's beauty? Have you felt the power of the ocean? That's what the folks from intelligent design say; the world is too complex a place for it to be a mere accident. That's probably what that "poor lady" was trying to say. Can somebody prove God to you by giving you his phone number? If they can, run! but there have been people that have experienced near death experiences and been clinically dead and are convinced there is a God. Some were even atheists before their experience and are now believers;they come the closest to being dead and knowing the answer and most of them answer "yes".

There are three arguements generally used to try to "prove" God's existence rationally. I don't buy any of them, but you didn't ask me about that, did you ;)

1. The Ontological Proof: Okay. Can you imagine a being greater than any other being?
Ok.
Now, in addition to all the traits needed to be this perfect being, one must add the trait of existence, in order to truly imagine the greatest being possible.
Thus, God exists! It's a weird proof, and philosophers love to talk about it.
2. The Cosmological Proof: Based on these premises: 1. Everything has a cause (in nature, in physics, in anything). 2. You can't eternally go back and have cause after cause after cause: there must be something that exists without something having cause it. 3. That is God.
3. The Telological Proof: aka Intelligent Design. Everything that exists has a function. The eye is perfectly designed to funtion to see, any sight difference would render it useless. Just as a carpenter builds a house with a blueprint and exactly design, so must each thing in nature have been built with these interwoven designs in mind. This creater must be God.

Like I said, I don't put much stock into them, but those are the traditional "rational" arguements that don't rely on a book.

Hey April. I believe that if God never revealed himself to the first man and woman that ever lived on this earth. And this God never revealed himself to the world by word by prophets, or the written word, or have followers, than that religion is a man made religion and should not be taken seriously.

There is only one book in the whole world that expounds on this without apology. It is the Bible that covers 4,000 years of human history and has a genealogy chart that extends from Jesus Christ all the way back to Adam and Eve the first parents that ever lived.

But this is just my opinion and why I have faith in the God of the Bible. Does heaven exist, yes because the Bible says it does.

The proof and evidence is all around you and everywhere, undeniable proof, and indisputable visible evidence. It is called creation and life. Unless your are blind, deaf, and senseless. You can see, smell, taste, hear, feel, and examine the evidence.

We live on a planet teeming with life. Plant life with approximately 250,000 species, animal life with over a million species. Scientists are learning just how complex life is. So complex that it requires design. The evidence of design requires a designer. Scientists are also learning the conditions for life; just how perfect conditions here on planet Earth are to support all this life.

The human brain, it absorbs forty megabytes per second of data while awake. That is two terabytes of data a day. At night, it sorts and stores that data through the creation of new chemical bonds and synaptic connectors.

Sure, right, this all just happened and evolved. This sort of thinking takes considerable faith, exponentially more faith than believing in a creator.

You can't PROVE that God exists to anyone who doesn't believe that he does. That's the short answer. You either believe or you do not. You either see the world as evidence or you do not. You either feel evidence of a God within yourself or you do not. If you do not, that is your own choice, but there is no reason for you to try to disprove other's beliefs. What good is trying to change other people's opinions going to do? Go find a topic that interests you, research it, and form your own opinions and beliefs rather than trying to tear other peoples' opinions down.

You may have heard this, or something similar........ to a believer, no "proof" is necessary, to a non-believer, no proof is sufficient.
If you don't believe in God, there is absolutely NO proof I or anyone else could give you that you would accept. It's as simple as that.
I happen to believe there is very strong evidence (notice I didn't say proof) if you truly want something to show you evidence, google Perry Marshall "if you can read this, I can prove God exists" it's the best "proof" I have ever come across

I cannot prove to you that God exists, even if I were to use the bible. God reveals Himself to each person. It is a personal matter, belief.

If you have never, ever in your entire life felt anything you would say is the presence of God, that is what I don't understand. And I'm not saying that in a critical matter, just in astonishment.

April, why do you exclude the bible? The bible makes statements without any proof.

Religions have beliefs, science has proofs.

first off its not "a god" its "the GOD" proving his existence is tough to people like you because you dont want to beleive . the answer is around around you and thru you . your simply denying his existence but doing so is putting your immortal soul at risk . do you want to really take the chance ? can you prove GOD doesnt exist ? but GOD gives evryone the ability to deny him i wish you luck in the hereafter .
