How is this possible?

Rap - Interesting info, however "Allan Wilson's naming Mitochondrial Eve[4] after Eve of the Genesis creation story has led to some misunderstandings among the general public. A common misconception is that Mitochondrial Eve was the only living human female of her time — she was not. Had she been the only living female of her time, humanity would most likely have become extinct due to the extreme population bottleneck." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitochondrial_Eve

The idea of a single male and female human ancestor is contradictory to evolutionary fact. The population of humans gradually evolved from other hominans, and the population size was never two (indeed if the population size had been just two, humans would almost certainly have become extinct).

Sad to think people have faith in an idea that is impossible.

well science says that through dna coding all women came from one woman ,sorry but that is just not a logigal colusion. they figure after the last earthly disater there was no more then 10 females alive to produce the modern population. and for any different species to come through with the same intact dna is 10 to the 80 power.

Frightening, isn't it. I guess I'd fallen into thinking - living over here - that even believers would be anxious to emphasise that most of Genesis is allegorical.

But then you come on here, and you find they swallow every word! They'd happily accept that 1 and 1 is equal to 3 if they could find a Scriptural reference to it - or simply heard it from Ted Haggard a few months back.

Their iniquity is in great power, and flourishes like a green bay tree. They are like the deaf adder, which stoppeth up her ear.

Yes I truly believe that Adam and Eve existed. DNA evidence shows that we are all descendants of one female. The DNA people say that she lived 130,000 years ago. but recent evidence has come out that the mutation co-efficient that is generally used to work out when people had a common ancestor could be erroneous.

Yes adam and eve existed. How is this possible because the word of GOD is true.

the inner parts of humans are so perfectly made.It amazes me how my stomach knows which food to use for which need. Its awesomely made.No evolution or rock hitting earth can create us.If it were so they would have created the rock man in fantastic four not us.But it wasnt so.

GOD created us.He created us in his image. He created us to be with him.

GOD loves u so much that he sent his son JESUS to die for u to reconcile u back.

John 3:16 says "For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.

Well, Jesus believed they did, and there is evidence other than from Christian sources that Jesus existed. So either He is who He said He is (God in the flesh), and Adam and Eve really existed also, or He lied and the Jews were correct in crucifying Him.
