Not recognizing a need doesn't mean there's no need. You don't see past death and you assume that everything is fine right now, so you live your life accordingly. The Bible warns of what happens after death, and if you don't believe the Bible, well, I think it's kind of dangerous to be wrong about this one.

well if a person does not believe that they need saving then they don't feel they need salvation. the thing is is that it is very easy to show how a person is a sinner. you just have to establish what is considered sin even if it is just sin against fellow man and then you just go through the 10 commandments and ask if they have ever lied and new it was wrong.....ever stole something and felt it was wrong or anything. if they don't feel remorse in any of their actions then they are a sociopath and unfortuneately there isn't a medical treatment for that right now just alot of prayer.

Well, if a person doesn't believe he/she is a sinner, then they obviously don't need salvation. Jesus said He did not come to call the righteous but sinners. He also said they that are whole (spiritually) don't need a 'physician'.
If a person is perfect and righteous and does not need God, then God cannot do anything for him. It's only those who recognize what and who they really are, and also care, that need salvation. And it is always available to those that realize they need it.

You can't have it YOUR way. You don't dictate to God any circumstances. It will change nothing whether you don't believe you are a sinner. So you have NEVER hated anybody, never lusted for a woman, or never lied?
The fact that you rebel against the Word of God proves you are a sinner. Also you will not learn His Word, humble yourself and come to Him for guidance proves you are not without sin. Good luck with that train of thought. The day will come when you will need Jesus Christ more than He needs you. Too bad you reject Him- I hope you change before it's too late.

The first requirement for anyone to accept the gift of salvation through Jeaus Christ, is the need to admit and confess their sin. A person who doesn't belive they have ever sinned is deluded and blinded to the facts that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
Think of how many would line up outside every store in the world for a free xbox game unit or wii. Yet every day millions reject the free gift of Gods love and His Son, Jesus Christ. The playing of video games appears to be more important than eternal life and the peace and joy within that comes from accepting Christ and following the life plan God has for each one of us. The game machine and a few games will bring a very temporary enjoyment before boredom sets in. Salvation through Jesus Christ brings peace and joy eternally. Which would you choose?

You don't have to believe that you are a sinner but if you are, you are. (Heck, I don't have to believe that I have gained some weight, but I have.) We all need salvation because we all sin.

None. But if you're speaking in terms of judeo-christian tradition, most doctrines state that all humans are sinners, for any number of reasons. Ultimately, if you beleive you are free from sin, you probably don't beleive in any of those doctrines, so you probably ought to chuck those doctrines' ideas about salvation also.

No 'sin' = nothing to be saved from.

That's why I know Christianity is not true. "Sin" is a religious concept and relative judgment, it has no ontological status and therefore does not exist apart from it's status as a concept. It cannot be measured in any concrete manner. There is no concrete standard with which to measure what it is. Note that even Christians can't agree on what constitutes 'sin'. Some say one thing is 'sin' others disagree. There is no way make 'sin' something that is concrete, even Christianity's non-existent god, the writers of the Bible and the architects of Christianity themselves have all failed to do that effectively.

You are correct. If a person thinks they are fine just they way they are, they do not see a need for salvation. They don't see themselves as a sinnner and they don't see the need of Jesus.

Now, just because they don't see their sin, doesn't mean that people shouldn't still witness to them. Sin is not hard to point out. Perhaps, if you are the Christian, you could make it a point to point out what sin really is.

People do not believe basically because Jesus hasn't revealed himself to them.

John 10:26-30 (NKJV)
But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. [27] My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. [28] And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. [29] My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. [30] I and My Father are one."
