After three and a half years I found out that no only was my ex-girlfriend cheating on me but she moved in with him! I gave her three weeks to get the rest of her crap out of my garage. She didn't so I pitched it. It was mostly junk anyways. My question is: Should I feel guilty or not? She said that she didn't have anywhere to put it. I told her that I didn't care. She called me two months later wondering if I still had her stuff. I said no and she hung up.

don't feel guilty, she was the one cheating on you and besides you gave her 3 weeks to come back and get her stuff,so she didn't make no effort to come back and get them instead she waited 2 months to call and find out about her stuff.you did the right thing.so don't worry about feeling gulity about anything you've done.

You are lucky. She could sue you for the value of her things. You could have offered to put them into storage for her, and let her pick up the tab for it.

At any rate, she has probably realize that the junk wasn't worth the trouble, so she will forget about it and move on.

you lost your temper,
you were angry.
she expected you to do her a favor and keep her stuff in storage for her?
**** that!
you could have dealt with it in a better way
but it is completely understandable.

You are actually legally responsible for that. She could take you to court and she would win! If you are lucky, she doesn't know that.
