“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:” -------- Rev 22:18
“And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book”. ---- Rev 22:19
This is a severe warning to the Israelites to not change the revelations because the Bible is not guaranteed to be free from human corruption/changes.
If the Bible was to be protected from change by divine decree then this warning would not be needed.
That is why both the Old and New Testament and the Torah have gone through translations/new editions and other changes.
This doesn’t mean the Bible is not scripture…. It just means that not every word is guaranteed by God to be exactly what was revealed in the original form.

For one thing, the bible was changed a great deal when they added the book of Revelations.

The book of revelation was not written for the Israelites, but for the Gentiles as well.
Revelation is not a literal book anyway. John was extremely old, living in exile on Patmos when he wrote it. Many of the things found in the book of Revelation are believed to be veiled references to current events and others for metaphors, not prophecy, of future events.
We don't have the originals. Therefore no one knows if the translations are from the originals. Additionally, scholarship continues to improve giving us more and more accurate translations.

TRANSLATIONS are NOT inspired. There have been MANY defective translations of the scriptures into English and other languages. With so many people using defective versions like the kjv or "new world" perversion of the Holy Scriptures, it is a wonder that anyone has any TRUE UNDERSTANDING of the Bible any more.
MOST modern translations will present a valid interpretation of the original language texts.

Yes, and that is where spiritual discernment (the Holy Spirit) comes in. The Old Testament very well may have suffered some loss in translation, (but from the oldest records we have, it hasn't,) but the main message and central theme is very obvious. It has been proven historically accurate time and time again, even when scientists and historians had previously doubted some of it's accounts.
It is possible that words may have been lost from the original text, or possibly entire segments, but I highly, HIGHLY doubt it. In any event, it is obvious to see that we are all sinners, seperated from God, and that Jesus came to bridge that gap.

Do you want to be a servant for particular words in the same language.
Why do you consider the translation is change in the meaning, Can't the human to translate any thing to even the forbidden language without changing.
Can't you translate "God is Love" into arabic for example, here you are the translation "Allah mahabba", or into assyrian: "Allaha khobele".
So where is the problem dear with translation.

The Bible is a small part they have taken and change maybe 95% and that is just a rough guess it maybe greater
It is a greater thing to just put Faith into yourself, then into a book full of Power and control over the People who believe and put all their faith into a book of Crap
Open your mind and heart as see and feel what is right for you : )
People only fear what they do not understand and fear is what gets control of the People release your fears and face your journey in life with enjoyment of the adventure
Life is what you make it not what a book can make it be

Yes, I've heard of alot of books of the bible being left out, and even certain parts of them changed by Catholics and other relious sects to cater to their own views.
-Unless you find the dead sea scrolls and translate them into perfect english, then I doubt that you'll see the orignal. I highly doubt that any bible printed today is the real one. The only thing that hasn't been changed for sure is the TEN COMMANDMENTS.

Ask the JW's they are good at taking out and putting in, theologians cannot agree on the bibles original script, because it has changed so many times through history.

Whole chapters were left out. Like the book of Judas, where Jesus tells Judas to betray him. The whole thing is fake anyway.
