OK, so I meet this girl last November and everything goes brilliantly although quite heavy quite quickly. At christmas we split up as she gets cold feet about the whole thing and starts ignoring my calls etc until we split up.

Then in Feb she says she misses me and we get back together because I miss her too. Then a few weeks ago she's not replying to texts and it's difficult to contact her again and so last week we split up - a big part of her reason being the not-exactly-peaceful relationship i have with my ex who's also the mother of my child.

Then the day after we split i get a text saying "I Love You.XXX" . Have had text conversation twice since, both times with her starting it and both times with her suddenly not responding (even though I'd finished mine with a question - like did you see that tv prog nothing to do with the relationship.)

What do I do in this situation?

It sounds like she doesn't know what she wants. If all she's been doing is playing games, then walk away. Hopefully you're a more mature person than that if you have a child, and you don't need to be worrying about someone that can't figure herself out.

the best thing to do is ask her to meet up with you somewhere quiet for a coffee and a chat and then just tell her exactly how you feel, it will be hard but tell her what it is you want and ask her what it is she wants but tell her to think about it before answering. just tell her that its hurting you not knowing where you stand and that you need to know

if she has worries about you going back to your ex then reassure her that even though you have a child together there is nothing else between you and that it isn't your ex that you want to be with

i hope you manage to sort it out

ma brother it seems as if u hav e alot of problems ok. so do like wat the first person said WALK AWAY. Cause it seems as if she is causing alot of problems in ur life. And also seems as if she maybe getting back with her x. so try to get over her and move on. the next time she calls or watever tell her u have moved on and she is just hurting ur felling and shes gonna keep doing that (that is only if u r hurt really hurt and got over her). now if u find this hard ask a male or female friend for advice or just pray to God to show u the right way and wat u should do.hope this helps!!!! good luck

she sounds like she doesn't know what she wants. talking is your best bet right now, tell her how you feel about the way she acts toward you. she'll either change or keep on doing what she's doing, which will prob hurt you in the long run.

I think you should walk away. She is giving very mixed signals. It sounds like she is using you for the holidays (christmas, valentine's day). She's not worth the time.

Time to call it a day and find someone more emotionally stable

I think she may have problems. Find someone else or you will have nothing but heartbreak.

Dump her. It's all on her terms and she knows it.
