I don't eat them often, but once in a while you just gotta have them. Have you tried the boneless and skinless kind, put out by bumble bee? I like the ones with hot mustard, too. I'll eat sardines with saltines or bread and butter.

I LOVE sardines with hot sauce. Never tried the saltine crackers though. =]

Hot sauce, mustard sauce, tomato sauce or oil. All good to me. Kippered Snacks are even better. Then smoked baby clams in oil are good too and smoked octopus in sardine sized can is good. And don't forget, the ever enjoyable pickled herring.
