Turn on the light as usual for about 15 minutes. Then take out the bulb and shake it really hard while the filament is still hot. You might need a kitchen hotpad to hold the hot bulb without dropping it.
The lower the wattage, the more fragile the filament.

Very carefully connect a 120 Volt bulb to a 240 Volt socket and poof! It will be burnt out! Some of these other things with water will shatter the glass, I don't think that is what you want.

Wrap some aluminium foil around it ..careful NOT to get the foil into the bulb socket.

Apply voltage or amperage in excess of a new ones rating .
Or , visit the maintenance shop for a burnt one at your nearest hospital or apt complex or office building or . . .

Crush, put too much voltage in the circuit, over heating, pooring water (warning, you might get hurt or cause fire with these things).

drop the lamp on the floor....my son does that quite often..and we have to keep extra bulbs around.
