Disconnect he battery. Disconnect the 2 wires on the starter. Remove the 2 bolts securing the starter to the engine, pull back a couple of inches and it is off.

pull the pos. cable off the battery, pull the cables off the starter and then take the bolts out, it comes right off and the new one will fit right back in its place. At least mine did when I replaced it a few years ago...its easy
