i learned in a study that typically, viruses require a host cell to reproduce. What happens when a virus reproduces is they inject their DNA into the host and turn it into a virus-producing factory. after the required number of viruses is produced, when the cell cant hold anymore, it literally bursts, leaving the new viruses to wreak havoc of their own.
