In 1 Corinthians 14, Paul says he sings with both his spirit and his mind, and he prays with both his spirit and his mind.
The mind is important in Christianity, because you need to think and distinguish between good and evil, wise and foolish. However, there are things in Christianity, things of God, beyond the comprehension of the human mind. Therefore, the mind is essential, but the mind is not enough.

I know Christians aren't going to like this but, Christianity is a man made religion, at least what we call Christianity today. Where worldly Christians do anything they want under the cover of Christianity. However worldly Christianity can not be compared to a real encounter with the true God ( Jesus Christ ). When a real encounter happens that person is completely changed from the inside out including the mind. On the other hand worldly Christians change on the outside only, leaving the inward man unchanged, thus what ever the inward man wants, the flesh does, producing worldly results. The Bible states that we are as real Christians to be transformed by the RENEWING of your MIND
Ro 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the RENEWING of your MIND, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Darlin' - Christianity is a WAY of life... it is the human beings that disobey God and follow their own desires that are unmindful.
You can see it in the "fruit" of our human behavior:
Galatians 5:17 For what our human nature wants is opposed to what the Spirit wants, and what the Spirit wants is opposed to what our human nature wants. These two are enemies, and this means that you cannot do what you want to do.
Gal 5:18 If the Holy Spirit leads you, then you are not subject to the Law.
Gal 5:19 What human nature does is quite plain. It shows itself in immoral, filthy, and indecent actions;
Gal 5:20 in worship of idols and sorcery. People become enemies and they fight; they become jealous, angry, and ambitious. They separate into parties and groups;
Gal 5:21 they are envious, get drunk, have orgies, and do other things like these. I warn you now as I have before: those who do these things will not possess the Kingdom of God.
And then there are the fruits of those wholly in Christ:
Gal 5:22 But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal 5:23 humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these.
We need to look to ourselves - and carefully examine our hearts:
Gal 5:24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have put to death their human nature with all its passions and desires.
Gal 5:25 The Spirit has given us life; he must also control our lives.
Gal 5:26 We must not be proud or irritate one another or be jealous of one another.
Peace dear one.

not
Jesus said in one place to love God with all your heart and soul and MIND and strength
Jesus said in another God seeks those who iwll but finding worship Him in Sprit and in TRUTH
I think some of the historical greats in CHristianity would emphasise both. Jonathan Edwards would emphasis knowing, loving and treasuring truths and lifting ones affection towards God and would not seperate the sincere emotional affections to God and the doctrinal truths and increasing knowledge of God
Today... some people gravitate toward heavy on the emotionalism, but are in the shallow end of things when in comes to discipling of the mind
so... no... it's not supposed to be that way and you can find churches and denominations that are very mindful... you can find churches that are very emotional and very energetic
and sometimes you can even find a place that is a combines both

We as Christians are to love The Lord our God with all our soul heart and minds.Putting others first and not ourselves.Thinking before we act because we are being watched by unbelievers.Now how can that be unmindful.

Mindful can have various meanings, but I think you mean intellectual. The denomination I grew up in was almost too intellectual: lots of very clever elloquent theoligians in it. But one of them liked to say that we tended to be too 'cerebral'.
There should be a balance, though. The Heidelberg Catechism says that 'true faith is not only a certain knowledge but also an assured confidence.'

Jesus said we are to love God with all our heart, all our MIND and all our spirit, and our neighbours as ourselves. This is the first and greatest commandment.
Nothing mindless about it.

I think Christianity is very mindful. Christianity teaches us to seek after wisdom and gives us instruction on how to handle our affairs with other people. Jesus himself teaches us to be as shrewd as serpents and as peaceful as doves.
