What is the most mystical event that has occurred to you on the golf course?

I hit 8 greens in regulation on 9 holes and shot a 47.

I can't call it mystical - but we have a lot of Springbok and Bontebok on our course in Benoni South Africa - and I saw this Bontebok, about the size of a horse, totally terrified by a domestic cat sitting on the path about 15 yards from him. He was too scared to move but kept pawing the ground and grunting loudly. He stayed there for about an hour, while the cat just licked it's paws and stared at him. Also lots of baby Springbok, they are so tiny.

ok... mine wasn't on a golf course but it did have to do with golf. i was in hilton head island, south carolina for the verizon heritage a couple weeks ago. it was like 9 in the morning on wednesday and i decided to go running... i had on a t-shirt from my high school golf team and i was running and listening to my iPod. then i got this really weird feeling that there was someone behind so, i paused my iPod and turned around and Ernie Els was walking behind me with his family and Zach Johnson was riding a bike. So, I stopped and asked why they hadn't passed me. And Ernie said 'he was just enjoying walking" and zach said cause he wanted to see how long it took me to notice them there. So, I ended up talking to them for like 30 minutes about high school golf and the PGA Tour etc. and they signed my shirt and I saw them the next day at the tournament and they both remembered me and said hi!
It was a pretty cool experience.

back in the 80's i was playing with a left hand guy and there was a country road that ran all the way down the 13th hole of the course i played all the time. he sliced his tee shot out of bounds. an old 60's model chevy pickup was driving by. the ball hit in the bed of the truck and bounced up and then hit the road where the truck had driven on. and when it hit the road it bounced really high and back in bounds in the edge of the rough. we laughed to we cried. it was really funny.

I was golfing one morning and heard my drive land about 225 yards away. I am looking forward to golfing in the early morning some Summer day again soon.

Well, me and my dad were golfing in Florida and were putting on the green. A squirrel jumped into our cart and into the storage area on the dash. I had set my candy bar (A milky way) in there and was going to eat it after I putted. We were walking back to the cart and the squirrel took off with my full candy bar in its little mouth. I was kind of mad, but it was funny.

about a week ago, my friend and i played a round at a couse, and there were these two old guys in a golf cart in front of us, and one of the guys fell out of the cart, and this guy looked like he was like 65, and we run to see if he is ok, and him and his friend were so drunk that he could not drive the cart strait and they could barley talk, it was soooooo funny

My playing partner and I had hit on a par three in Weiser, ID. We were very happy with our shots since we were both within 10 ft. of the hole. A single followed us, and asked to play through. We let him, and he put it in the hole in one bounce. Majestic!

On a par 3, my buddy and I ran into a 4some of old guys. They were on the green and told us to play through. They step off the green and my buddy hits. The old men then start talking to each other and stop paying attention to me as I get ready to tee off. I swing, the ball looks like its going for the green, then i see one old man like dive out of the way as he gets nailed with the ball on his back. He then chewed me out for not yelling 4, which i should of done, but i assumed they would be watching as they were standing right next to the green.
