It used to happen a few years ago, they get really red and spotty, and the worse they get, the more itchey they are. Its like a vicious circle. Its happening again 4 the 1st time in ages, the only way i can resolve it is by going on the sunbed, as it dries the spots out and breaks the cycle. however, i dont like using sunbeds anymore, as im fair skinned and dont like the risks. Anyone know why my legs get like this, and any other cures?

i have allergies and suffer from itchy blotchy skin like yourself it only happens every so often i use a product called pinetarsol in the bath and pinetar lotion after bathing remember to pat your skin dry and not rub as rubbing yourskin only makes it itchier and the other thing that works is cold compress or shower..i know it is a pain and it is horrible when it happens but if it gets really bad get an antihistimine that knocks you out....good luck i hope you find out how to get rid of it i have tried everything

Actually, You need to stay away from DRUGS,ALL DRUGS from your doctor and over the counter are made with SYNTHETIC CHEMICALS!!! This could be inpart why your skin is acting out! You may have an overload of toxic chemicals in your system and not only that but you could be wearing SYNTHETICS in your clothing and definately in your athletic shoes.Every single product you use for your skin is likely bought from the everyday grocery store and don't think that Health Food Stores are all free of synthetics they too carry products that LIE! OUR FOODS ARE CONTAMINATED AS WELL AS ALL THINGS WE THINK TO BE COOL AND NORMAL.If your socks and most likely they do,have synthetics in them this could be irritating your legs, your pants, your shoes. The vary laundry detergent you use could be causing this as well! Just because it says NATURAL doesn't always mean it's as it says and the vary products that say they are fragrance and dye free may be but they are still made with these CHEMICALS! My entire family is suffering from this many year exposure. Here are some things YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW: The truth hurts but the LIES HURT MORE!

The only thing I can suggest is to see your dr and have them evaluate the situation. A consultation with a dermatologist (dr who treats skin disorders) may also be an option in helping you to try and figure out what is going on.

You need to go to the docs and get some steroid cream. Use sparingly on the patches.
