Yes. Jesus is the Lord.

Isaiah 9:6 - the child to be born shall be called Wonderful Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Jn 8:58-59 “Jesus said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.’”
“I am” in Scripture is the preeminent way God identifies Himself. See Ex 3:14

Jn 10:38 “the Father and I are one.”

Jn 12:45 “..whoever sees me sees he one who sent me.”

Jn 20:28 Jesus accepts Thomas’ profession of faith: “My Lord and my God!”

Col 2:9 “For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily..”

Tit 2:13 “awaiting our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ”

I am not a Christian, but I can tell you this: If God says Jesus is his son, then that makes him sort of a God.

Of course, for Christians Jesus is God. For others, well... that depends on their respective views. Some people consider Jesus to be a prophet, while others completely deny Jesus deity status.

I rather accept the view of the Christians, and respect that, even when I believe something different.

Some part of believes, some part of me doesn't, but have you ever thought about it really? What if the story of God is a made up tail, and all these years later people still believe the tail? But, I believe what I believe. So you get to make that choice to believe in him (and thats to everyone)
and no I can't quote a verse from the bible where Jesus explicatly says that he is God or worship him.lol :P

Wow, these verses are contained throughout the Old Testament and New Testament scriptures. Odds are, if you opened a bible, at any spot, you would find a reference to this within 15 pages, either direction. Open a bible and read for yourself, put forth the effort, it will not go unrewarded.
God Bless You...Peace.

Yes, The Holy Trinity(The Father, Son, and The Holy Spirit) are all one, but are different forms of God Himself.

...I certainly do believe He is God the Son, the Second Person of the Triune God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob....observe:
***
...John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
**
...John 5:17-18
...17 But He answered them, "My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working."
...18 "For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God."
**
...Hebrews 1:8 "But of the Son, He says, "Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever..."
**
...John 14:9 (Jesus speaking), "He that has seen Me, has seen the Father."
**
...I hope this helps.

Sure there are lots, most of them are the Father speaking on behalf of His son.

This concept was NOT added at Nicea, it needed to be addressed at Nicea because some heresies had started up that needed to be addressed.

Let's start in Genisus 1:

"26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [b] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them."

Check every version on the planet, it says "Us" here, God was a plural being!

i feel that Jesus is NOT God!!!! that is a form of blasphemy! Jesus is not the son either, but i feel that he is and was god's most wonderful prophet and the last true prophet.

i feel that a prophet must be a peace loving man that does not want war or people to suffer, that was what Jesus was about, peace and goodwill to all people. even if those people didnt believe in him and his ways.

my ideas both come from Christianity and alittle of Islam, combinded with my own ideas. some Muslims that read this will say that Mohammad was the last prophet, but i cant consider a man that had wars, for whatever reason, is not a true 100% man of God. God is good and peaceful, it even says that in the quran, that god want peace!!!

well that my reasoning for saying what i have. hope it makes u think.
