If i had a dream to slay my son, i wouldnt do it, because i dont know if that is from God, but the reason Abraham did it is because he was a prophet, and prophets dreams are always true and from God.

I would know that it was not God. As Jesus said "my sheep know my voice". Any god that told someone to do that in this day and age when mankind has evolved beyond the ignorance of the stone age would be only Satan. I know my God, and I follow only Him. And contrary to what anyone tells you, the Christian God is one God, in the flesh He was Jesus the Christ.
To Farid: Prophetic Dreams are not always from God. The devil can also come to you in a dream. You must use discernment when understanding a dream. This means talking to a holy person who can help interpret this. The test is this. Is it in keeping with the law of Love?

I would probably tell that God to take a hike. No disrespect inteneded to Christians or any other believer. But, come on. I would never accept such a request from any God.
