I'm wondering if there are spanish lyrics, or a spanish version, of two common lullaby tunes in english. The first is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" (aka the alphabet song, aka "Baa Baa Black Sheep"). The second is the "Brahm's Lullaby" ("Lullaby, and good night...")
I'm not necessarily looking for a direct translation...I could put the lyrics into a translator for that! What I want to know is whether there is a spanish song sung to either of those tunes, and if so, what are the words.

I am raising my son bilingually, and we have received some toys that play those tunes. I would love to be able to sing along in spanish!

I know many many songs (lullabies) in Spanish but I don´t think there is one that you could sing with those tunes. Sorry.

i know for sure that "twinkle twinkle little star" has a translation in spanish and i think it goes like this more or less "brilla brilla estrellita del cielo la mas bonita" for the other one i think there are also lyrics and they start with "duerme"
The most popular one in spain goes like this:
"duermete niño duermete ya que viene el coco y te comerá"
(a bit scary for young children, anyway i dont know what music does come from)
and i have heard one recently also in spanish, very beautiful called " a la nanita nana" and sung by a U.S group (i think) called the cheetah girls or something like this.

Go to Mexico - someone there knows enough Spanish to teach you. Perhaps you may like it there and you can stay awhile and learn more songs - I understand Mexico has open arms for illegal immigrants
