the sane? I think you were trying to ask what the saying "no one is going to jew me down" means exactly.

It just means that no one is going to lower you or your ideas... If you are selling something no one will jew you down from the price asked for.

'A drink of water is wasted on a drowning man.' It's that kind of meaning. Sane people don't need sanity, they already have it.

This is a most insulting term.

Jewish people have an image of arguing and discussing, so the implication is that you are going to get argued to death and you will have to concede (or, in this case, NOT concede).

But, it is an outdated slur and epithet

Pretty much nothing. Everyone is pretty much insane. If you go to your friends nome, and you open up the medicine closet and see prozac and valium...run. There are hardly any mentally stable people left in mainstream society.

The saying indicates a person knows the value he has placed on something, and will not take less, despite statements of devaluation. "No bargaining."
It is not correct usage, may be anti Semitic.

That is an ethnic slur, meaning you can't talk them into selling it for less. I guess racism is a form of insanity, caused by their parents.

You only need to know that it is very derogatory and should never be said.
