Would this be weird?

I am 14 and have never had a boyfriend before. I am kinda shy but I am kinda outgoing too. I feel that I am not ready to have a boyfriend. I sometimes think that I will NEVER be ready to have a boyfriend. I do have crushes on a few guys at school though. I am just scared that I am going to be 17 or 18 and still single and I don't want people to make fun of me and say I am a lesbian. Because I am NOT! Is it weird to get your first boyfriend in college or around the ages of 18-21? Do you know anyone like that? I think that I am kinda pretty I know that I am not ugly!

Heck yeah I had a few crushes here and there but I didn't really start dating until I went to college so more power to you for waiting and not rushing in or being with someone for your peers told you to so stay strong and date when you want to !

Well, haha I'm glad I'm not the only person who feels this way. I'm 15 myself, and I've never had a girlfriend before. I'm also very shy but I'm outgoing, and I'm not ugly either, I'm even on the football team and I work out. I have a few crushes, but I'm too shy to make any moves.

But if you don't feel ready, then don't do it! Everyone else may be getting a boyfriend or girlfriend, but that's what peer pressure is, sometimes it's not even about having a relationship, some people just want to fit in.

But don't force yourself to do anything that you don't want to.

Honestly though, It may be a little late to get your first boyfriend during, 18-21, but still, it's much better than going through many pointless relationships that just end up being bad and breaking up in your early teen years.

It's not weird at all! You should always wait to do something until you feel ready! It's not the end of the world if you don't have one I promise and like someone said before me it's better to wait for the right one than to put up with the wrong ones! Plus don't worry about what people in highschool say, when you get out nobody cares. Just so long as you know the truth

I had the same feelings like that. i thought I wouldn't even have a chance till after 21+. But then I had a relation ship with my best friend just suddenly pop out at me.

Don't worry about it. Your only 14. You have a while to go before you say you want to have a relationship with someone by. if you just go running into them it will hurt you.

Also unless you start making out with women Im almost sure no one will call you a lesbian because you are not ready yet to have a guy close to you.

Wait for the right person. When you are sure you want to be with that one person. then try for them.

Nope, of course that it isn`t werid. I know people who are in middle school and high school and didn't go out with anyone yet. Maybe your still looking for right one. I don't think it's weird if you have your first boyfriend between 18-21, it's perfectly normal.

talk to guys and flirt around with them if u get the vibe they like u back! stay cool, people won't make fun of u!! they mite just cuz they didn't either! so laff in front of their faces!! OK that was just me being weird but idont care wat people say 2 me so u shouldn't either! i just got out of a bad relitionship and all i can tell u is when u think u r ready look realy hard and find out as much as u can about the person. he may b the best lookin smartest and all but his family and back groud may not b all that great. so b 4 u fall head over heals 4 sume one make sure he iss the right person!!! good luck
