There are no true differences/divisions to the self. But for our purposes of understanding: Mind is the activating agent of Spirit, ego was made by us when we became afraid, and thought God was no longer our loving Father, but something apart from us, thus to be feared; soul is the connective "between" us as God's Beloved child, (individualized) and all that is real, and nothing unreal...for nothing unreal exists.

OK, for one thing, I know that they're all psychological structures and they each represent various aspects of the whole self.
Each one also represents a particular perspective and way of thinking, in other words each is a mind or 'domain' of awareness and perception. Without going into a lot of detail, the conscious mind's 'bubble of perception' (thanks Don Juan) is larger than the ego's, and the souls bubble of perception is even larger. We exist in many dimensions simultaneously, and we have many 'minds' that are particularly suited to those dimensions.
