Yes, all emotions are based on love and all emotions will return you to love if they're faced and expressed honestly.

VISIBLE "light" is the part of the Electromagnetic Spectrum
that the HUMAN eye can "see".
"All the colors of the spectrum" only applies to the part of the electromagnetic spectrum that GOD designed the human eye to "see".
Since colors are VIBRATIONAL FREQUENCIES, frequencies which fall outside of the human eyes bandwidth may be visible by certain other animals and life from other planets.
LOVE is like a vibrational frequency in that it is a discrete emotion. While some emotions may mix and produce combinations feeling, I do not believe that LOVE is the inclusion of all of the emotions.

If you associate emotions with colors, you could assign some colors (emotions) as primary, and some as secondary, and tertiary. Also, there would be complimentary colors (emotions). On a color wheel, yellow and purple are complimentary, and appear oppisite of each other on the wheel. If you asign purple as the combination of sadness (blue) and passion (red), then it's compliment would be yellow (rejection).
Overall, I guess White Light could be associated with love, if the love you speak of is all inclusive. I can love many different people, places and things in many ways.
I think some people live in black and white reality, and have no idea what I'm talking about....

Our emotions are related to one another in many ways.
White light and love..perhaps symbolically, if you take the light as a symbol of the Divine nature and love as eminating from that nature.
Love is not a container for other emotions. It is not an umbrella term. Love, anger, jealousy, compassion...they are responses. Bound by their nature. Sigh.
Empathy, now to be empathic is really interesting. That, is an umbrella, or better yet a container, a clear glass. The contents, the responses from another pouring into you! WOW!
Interestinig question, you have to shift into different places to try it on.

In the Bible love is not an emotion or a feeling but a character quality. Hollywood has turned it into an emotional feeling.

When you see an object that is say red , it means that this object absorbs all colors except red so in fact it is everything but red
this is also the case with emotions an angry person is everything but angry ?

It's an interesting thought but does your favourite food contain every flavour?...I don't think so. I don't think you can compare light and love that way unless you are doing it poetically ... otherwise it's a bit too simplistic.
