have someone help you and use a baby themometer and a little petroleum jelly and take the temp rectally (gross i know, but its the only way to get an acurate temp on an animal)...a cats normal temperature is in the range of 100.0 - 102 degrees F. If the pet is not eating or acting normal, then chances are she may be running a temp as well.

the conventional temperature for a cat is 102. As with human beings cats can experience fairly punk and torpid with a fever. i do no longer think of heat ears are unavoidably an illustration of fever so watch him if he seems a litte "down" in his habit.

Take it's temperature, you don't need a thermometer so don't listen to all the so called experts on here. Just ease your little finger in it's bottom, leave it there for thirty seconds and then place in your armpit, if your finger is warmer than your armpit your cat has a fever.

I'm not really sure, but I do know that the nose thing is a total myth!! Sometimes my cat's nose is wet, then dry and wet again!!!
Cats are really good and acting normal if they are a little sick - to be on the safe side take him/her to the vet tomorrow for a check up. But if kitty is eating and drinking ok, and has no trouble pooping and peeing, don't be too worried!
Good luck - I hope your furry one is ok!!

If the cat nose is cold he or she okay.
But if the cat nose is wet or warm (he or she is coming down with something) like a fever.

Your cat will be listless and feeling sorry for itself but if you think it has a fever it needs to see the vet.

The inner eyelid is half closed.
The nose of the cat is warm and not wet.
The head of the cat is very warm (in the forehead and between the Eries).
The cat is very tired without energy and have no interest in the food given to it.
