Chemicals and Toxins Are The Primary Cause of Illness, Disease and Obesity !
According to "National Geographic” - studies have discovered various chemicals from our foods and environment that indicates man contributes 700,000 tons of pollutants into the air every day - ranging from everyday household cleaners to cosmetics and hair dyes. Without a nutritionally rich diet that nourishes and assists the body in cleansing these substances from the body, the body will lose its strength and vitality. The immune system will become suppressed, contributing to an increase in illness, disease and excess body fat - a major killer in America today. These chemicals and toxins accumulate over time, and cause the liver and kidneys to become overworked and weak. Research has shown that stress causes the adrenals to release excess cortisol, a stress hormone that triggers over-indulgence in simple carbohydrates - chocolate, candy, sodas, and ice cream, even when you are not hungry. Excess cortisol contributes to hormone imbalances. 65% of the world's population cleanse on a regular basis as part of their cultures. Why don't North Americans ?
Chemicals and toxins accumulate in fat tissue. The more chemicals and toxins - the more fat the body manufactures. Have you ever tried to lose weight only to be disappointed ? Well, perhaps now you know the reason why! Most diets, lotions, pills, potions, and powders use unhealthy and potentially dangerous ingredients, such as ma huang, ephedra, and caffeine that promise fast weight loss . . . however - the weight loss is primarily water and lean muscle. Minimal fat is lost because these products do not address the cleansing of the system.
Without proper cleansing - the lost lean muscle and water return as fat, thus people are actually fatter versions of their prior selves. Chemicals and toxins are bound within fat tissue, and only specifically blended nutrients can contribute to releasing the chemicals from fat. Excess fat will literally melt away at an alarming yet safe and effective pace. This is the healthy alternative to nutritionally-deficient, disappointing and potentially deadly diets. 75% of Americans are overweight - 2,000,000 more Americans become obese every year. There are 18 million obese children in America. Obesity is linked to over 60 illnesses, including Heart Disease, Hypertension and Cancer. There were 1.5 million heart attacks in America in 2000 . . . 200,000 victims never reached the hospital.
Never before has it been so important, and so critical, for you to lose the excess fat and keep it off. Americans are becoming more aware of the importance of eating sensibly, exercising moderately, drinking quantities of clean water, consuming quality supplements, and managing their weight. Stress has created a population of sugarholics. The average consumption of sugar per capita in the United States is 3.5 pounds a week for adults and slightly more for children. There are numerous diet products, and most Americans have tried them all in an attempt to defeat the battle of the bulge. Yes ! We are in a war, and the battle waged is against FAT !
According to the National Institutes of Health, heart disease is the number 1 killer of Americans with 1,000,000 deaths each year - cancer is number 2. It is estimated that within the next five years, one out of two Americans will eventually succumb to heart disease, and one out of three to cancer. Today one out of eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. More than 85% of these cases are not genetically linked. They are a result of the environment we live in. A diet is anything you put into your mouth: food, beverages, the air you breathe, and what transdermally penetrates your skin. What comprises the foods you consume every day ? To name a few, they are pesticides, fertilizers, chemicals, hormones and food colorings. Commercial soils are over-farmed, undernourished, and are deficient in vital minerals and microbes. These minerals and nutrients are not replenished due to the costs involved. Your body is indeed a chemical depository !
Do you want to be HEALTHY, CLEAN, AND LEAN ? Then modify your lifestyle to incorporate on-going cleansing, sensible eating and mild exercise. You will be on your way to a lifetime of improved health and wellness.

There are many reasons, one being depression. I believe that the people of the US and CAN are very depressed with not only this useless war, but our economy and the leadership. We trust NO ONE anymore. This leads us to "not give a damn" and eat what we want. Eating is a form of a nature "antidepressant" - it feels good to eat! Simple as that. Then we promise ourselves that we will work it off, but we put in a hard day, fight the traffic home, and go to make supper and remember we are out of milk. So what the heck, we order-in, even though we can' t afford to, it been too long a day to go back out and get milk. It is an endless circle. Now when it come to "immigrants", and this stat is 100% accurate, with l year of immigration to either your country or mine, the average weight gain is 70 lbs. Go figure!! See, all the food, the #1 antidepressant. Now all we have to do to get a healthier population is end the war,end poverty, end killing, fired all the politicians - I could go on, but you get the drift!

have you been to the grocery store in the past 5 years? look at how many products are flooding the market. people want to not only buy the potato chips any more. they want to buy new products a b & c to try as well. so when snacking a person has had his or her fill of potato chips there are still 5billion other kinds of junk food to have "just a little bit" of. I say, it's ok to have a junk food item in the house, but do you really need 5 flavors of ice cream because Edy's came out with a new limited addition flavor? do you need to have all the flavors of doritos just because you've never had it before? If ice cream is your thing, get just the ice cream, one kind per trip. get lower fat if it doesn't break you heart. take out a single serving, as in use a measuring cup and indulge in it instead of spooning mindlessly with the carton in front of the tv. fitting in 30-60 minutes of exercise in the morning or evening (or split it up) wouldn't hurt. everyone says I gotta get in shape and go to the gym. Why not today? people rather prioritize american idol to their health, can't you watch that on the gym TV on the elliptical>? Parents, I know you're busy, but it is so important to teach your kids healthy eating and exercising from a young age so that they carry these habits with them when they go to college and so on. Go on bike rides, make dinner (crock pot meals are ready when you get home from work) pack lunches, buy fresh fruit for snacks and monitor junk food- make it an asking rule, one junk food serving per day. these are things that can be done on even a small budget. We aren't teaching our kids how to have good habits eating and exercising, and we should practice what we preach anyway

Theres a lot of fast food restaurants - people are too lazy or don't have time to cook (healthy) food. 99% of that food is fried.
People use escalators & elavators instead of stairs. I've seen a pic of an escalator going up to a gym. How ridiculous is that???
When I'm shopping I'll see ppl walk by w/their carts overflowing with frozen dinners, chips & soda. Not one single vegetable in sight! People don't want to cook. They gotta watch their tv!
America has become the laziest country.

a general lack of regular exercise and a caloric excess of an extended period of time causes obesity regardless if the person has the genetic predisposition for obesity or not.
those that do have the genetic predisposition need to release that weight loss through the diet alone will not provide long lasting weight management. the metabolism will slow eventually and weight will return if exercise is not used in addition to dietary changes.

Because people cannot exercise self control. Education on the subject is abundant. People are very aware of the risks of eating fast food and not exercising, and yet they make the choice to continue this type of behavior. Bad habits are hard to change, but it is definitely doable, especially when ones health is on the line. Across the board, I think people want instant gratification, and fail to think about long term consequences until it's too late.

Computers. Video games. Tv. DVDs. And fast food. Kids used to go outside and play for hours. Rode bicycles until dark. Had foot races. Etc. Now all they do is sit in the house and entertain themselves with things that require them to just sit still.
Parents dont make them go outside. And parents are either too busy or too lazy to make decent meals with fresh veggies and lean meat. You cant take in a 2000 calorie meal at McDonalds and then only use about 100 calories to sit and play games and watch tv and chat online and expect to stay thin and healthy.

Because we are busy and lazy! we are too busy to cook a decent meal (fast food and microwave meals are much easier than cooking a real meal, and tend to be very high in fat, sugar sodium and low in all the good stuff). Not only are most Americans eating food that is way too high in fat/sugar, we are not eating nearly enough vegetable and whole grains. We are too lazy to get outside and exercize. Parents are too lazy to parent and stick their kid in front of the XBOX or tv instead of encouraging more vigorous activities. And don't even get me started on the food they serve in school cafeterias.

I read that 1 out 8 Americans will work at Mcdonald's once in their lifetime. The average American will eat three hamburgers and four orders of fries this week. 90% of American children between ages three and nine will stop at a McDonald's this month. 12% of American workers have gotten a paycheck from McDonald's. 10 percent of the American boy's calories come out of a soda can. If you can say "two all-beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun," and most of us can, you know how the selling of fast food has become part of the culture. But did you know that the beef flavor comes from a chemical factory in New Jersey? Or that McDonalds, with more than 8000 private playlands, has transformed the art of marketing to children? Fast food has retooled our diets, but also the landscape of ranching and labor relations and real estate development. You have to be especially careful when you eat in fast food restaurants. As the consumption of unhealthy. This year Americans will spend over $110 billion on fast food more than they'll spend on movies, books, magazines, newspapers, videos, and recorded music combined. Every day about one quarter of the U.S. population eats fast food. Roughly 12% of all American workers have worked at McDonald's. The golden arches are now more widely recognized than the Christian cross. Children often recognize the McDonald's logo before they recognize their own name. American children now get about one quarter of their total vegetable servings in the form of potato chips and French fries. The typical teenage boy in the United States now gets about 10% of his daily calories from soda. The rate of obesity among American children has doubled since the late 1970s. A fast food soda that sells for $1.29 costs the restaurant about ten cents, a markup of more than 1200 percent. McDonald's is now the nation's largest purchaser of beef, pork, and potatoes. It is the second-largest purchaser of chicken in the U.S. Hundreds of local slaughterhouses used to supply the United States with beef; today thirteen large slaughterhouses supply most of the nation's beef. A typical fast food hamburger contains meat from dozens or even hundreds of cattle. Because fast food is so highly processed, much of its flavor is destroyed, so the tastes of most fast food are manufactured at a series of special chemical plants in New Jersey. Chicken McNuggets contain beef additives, while McDonalds French fries derive some of their flavor from "animal products."
