Sit ups will not decrease fat on the stomach. A healthy caloric intake coupled with moderate to intense exercise can decrease body fat, as long as a caloric deficit is being reached.

Sit-ups will make you gain muscle in that area and give it a toned look. To decrease fat you should run. Also do pilates it is wonderful for your stomache and unlike sit-ups it works all areas of the stomache not just one. You'll feel it in a week, nd in around 2 weeks you'll start to really see it in a month uve made yourself ova!! ITS AWSUM i highly recommend it :)

nope, there is no such thing as spot reduction, which means if u do sit ups u lose stomach fat, or if u work ur arms u lose fat there. the body loses fat wherever it feels like. if u wanna lose weight just dont eat and drink a slim fast everyday for a week

I don't know if it "decreases" the fat on your stomach, but it will "increase" the muscle.

Situps build muscle under the fat. Muscle may increase your metabolism and help you burn a few extra calories at rest, but you probably need to do some cardio to get rid of flab

it is physiologically impossible to cause localized fat loss through exercise. abdominal training will strengthen the mid-section but it will have absolutely no effect on fat loss in that area
