actually God did set up a perfect government, if you read the bible, prior to the books of Kings you will see that all they had were Judges, appointed by God. but man wanted to have a King, so God relented, and gave then Saul for a King.

The Bible does express a sense of how a government should be ran considering that in Ancient times, Religion and Government were not seperate entities. Ancient summarian codes including the Bible were all throughout the middle east. However, since we are a more modern society and have developed thought we can do away with most of the sillines that are Biblical laws. Our modern day government is based on that of Enlightenment thinkers which used scientific theory as a standpoint not silly vendetta law.

God can do what He wants, when He wants, and how He wants. However, when He set up His creation, He loved the idea of our having freewill. Too, He did give us instruction on good government. King David walked out the kind of kingdom he wanted as did several other kings.

He wants us to make choices and ge involved in oiur own gov't to have the kind of gov't we want. God is not going to superimpose His will to a creation He designed to come up with what they want. Now He will lead us and guide us if we will submit to Him and listen to His counsel, but so far not many presidents have done that and if they have they can't get the congress and the House to do the same

Right !!!!

It was actually 'a' government body who dictated to the translators of the 'bible' as we know it today, what was to be put into the good book.

This being the case it was also them who dictated what was to be left out of the translated version.

So in reality as far as governments are concerned.

They were then as they are now "Dictators".

And still hiding things from people now as they did then as well.

So, you see the saying about the 'governments' only telling you what they want to, goes back a long way.

Though it amazes me how they still manage to get away with it in this day in age.

The whole Bible is His instuctions for us! We, usually, choose not to follow or apply them. He gave man a free will to choose. Which means we have the choice to yeild to Him and His word, to do right or wrong, to love or hate! It is our descision. We are the way we are today because of our own choices and our lust for sin and the things which are contrary to God! It is addressed numerous times throughout the Bible how leadership or people in authority should act and the way things should be operated, but due to man's free will to choose we don't submitt to those things. We like to do things our way and don't like being told what or how to do them!

When we turn our gaze to the human endeavors to govern and simulate perfection, we find imperfection, for that is the nature of the liar. God has given us exactly what we need and it is all inside, but first every human must get rid of the stiff neck that the human consciousness clings to as reality. The human "mind" can't govern perfectly, but a heart that listens hears the music. Eventually even those in this age will begin to understand this eternal truth.

Actually he did. mankind, however is unwilling to submit to government by God. (Psalms 2:2) Jehovah God selected Jesus Christ to be Ruler of His heavenly Kingdom, or government. Long ago, the Bible foretold: “Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called . . . Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end.” (Isaiah 9:6, 7, King James Version) Regarding this government, Jesus taught his followers to pray: “Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.” (Matthew 6:10) God’s Kingdom will soon remove all the governments of this world, and it itself will replace all of them. (Daniel 2:44) Then God’s Kingdom will usher in an earthly paradise.

god is not a genie the more we understand he is god and lets humans and angels handle destiny on earth the better off we will be to blame him for everything that happens . He has a plan, everything is already written in destiny. SO do the best you can and hopefully I willl see you at the finish line.

He has done exactly as you ask.
Daniel 2:44 explains God is against man-rule.
God Himself, chooses to rule over the earth.
Daniel 2:44 explains that He will do an end to all man-rule and take over Himself.
