Her parents (and older siblings) have forbidden this--and have taken out a restraining order on this 25-yr-old felon. He went to jail for a few days for violating the restraining order--but he's now out again. She keeps lying about who she is with and where she is...the family has followed her--but she's managed to 'ditch' them...

They could not have him arrested for statuatory rape--or even lewd acts with a minor--because neither party would admit that anything ever happened. His PO said that sexual misconduct needed to be proved.

she can change him {dont think} hed never do it to her {yeah right} because she loves him !!!! because he loves her {creeps like this dont know the meaning of love}and because shes been banned from seeing him that makes him the forbidden fruit so to speak

A 16-year-old girl doesn't have the life experience to recognize that she needs to stay away from people like this. If a boy (or a man) gives a young girl the "attention" she craves (even if it's without the love, respect and affection she needs), she'll turn a blind eye to his faults, even if he's got some serious problems.
What she needs is guidance from someone she sees as a role model.

That's just stupid. If that man breaks probation by being with that 16-year-old girl, he's heading right back to jail for statutory rape.

Well, not to sound crass, but have the guy arrested for statutury rape if he's sleeping with her. That'll put him behind bars for a long time and maybe she'll come to her senses during that time.

yikes...that guy is a total loser. I can't think of one good reason why a 16 year old girl would be interested in a man like that besides having a relationship that is purely sexual.

I agree with red rose. Someone needs to set her stratght. Where are her parents? They should be forbidding her to see him. She is still a minor.
