I have been weight training and doing cardio for about 2 years now. I started using creatine suppliments about a year ago. But then today I was reading a magazine, it was talking about fat burning suppliments. Never actually heard of them before. They say you can burn fat and keep your muslce mass. So I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything at all about these products. Because I know half the time the stuff the say in the magazines in a bunch of crap. So if anybody can tell me anything about these products I would appreciate it.

most do work however the majority of people do not use them correctly. you should achieve fat loss first by making changes in the diet and level of exercise first then add in the thermogenic to expedite the process. most make little to no changes in the diet and level of exercise are not losing fat then take thermos and wonder whey they don't work...

it depends on what is in the product. most pills are just filled with things that will cut your appetite, like hoodia.
some try getting you energized to move around and lose it with ingredients like caffeine, green tea, or ginseng.
i know that some pills are coming with ingredients that claim they boost your metabolism, like theobromine or biotin.
but they say that even drinking cold water instead of room temp water helps boost the metabolism because it forces your body to adjust the water temperature.
i would speak to a doctor, sometimes they may recommend at least one brand more then the rest.
but i believe to keep the muscle mass the best idea would to continue work out and stick to lean, fresh meats along with fruits & veggies.
hope this helped at least a little.
