ok, so this morning our school went to like a band contest or something, and there's this girl, and all of a sudden she started hanging out with me, and talkin to me and stuff, we never really had hung out together before this, but she was really interested in me and there were plenty of other people there. I really think i like her and we made a real connection today. how do i ask her for her number before summer, and how can i tell if she likes me, and should i ask her to the final eighth grade dance?

Go for it. Just ask her for her number. If she says yes ask her to the dance. The worst she can say is no and even at that your only in 8th grade you've still got high school. Good Luck!!!

As an 8th grade girl myself, I can tell that this girl is coming onto you. It's her last chance to make it a point that she likes you. If you don't want to ask her to the eighth grade dance in case that she doesn't like you, ask her the day before the dance[in a flirty way], 'You're saving me a dance, right?' Flash her a smile and see how she reacts. She'll most likely flirt right back.

yeah i think you should say we should hang out sometime and see what she says, obviously shes interested in you if she just came up to you randomly and you don't know her that well. Unless you get to know her a little better pretty soon, im not sure about asking her to the dance, i mean you can always see her there. but just see how things go when you ask if she wants to hang out.

She must like you some, or she wouldn't be hanging out with you. Sure ask her to the 8th gr. dance. The worse thing she can do is say," No!"

maybe get to know her more before u ask her to the dance. but the number thing, do that first. just be like so..can i like..have ur number? girls like it when guys act a little shy. or at least i do..
