I am not sure whereyou are writing from, but all milk in the grocery stores is cow milk, around here. There is goat milk but it is labeled goat milk. Human milk is sometimes available for nursing babies. I have seen also soy milk, almond milk and some other plant milks.

As an exdairy farmer, ive had both. I prefer cows milk to goats milk, simply out of preference.
Goats milk is a great alternative though, if a child(who is on the bottle) cannot tolerate cows milk. My sister actually couldnt drink cows milk as a baby, and we owned a few milking goats(actually a whole herd of dairy goats)...and started feeding her goats milk. It worked well.
So if cows milk is available in your area.....Try it...:)
Its all about preference.

I have had cow's milk. My husbands family grew up on it. If you like thick rich milk or if you like whole milk from the store then cows milk you will love. It is good for you but it also very fattening. Goats milk I have not had nor do I have the desire to try it. But I won't knock it cuz I haven't tried it. I know some like it alot but I don't think anyone I know is that crazy about it.Fresh cows milk is very good when it is very cold. But you may want to stir it unless you like cream on top!! :) Alot of farmers scrape the cream off to churn it to butter. Or to make homemade ice cream. Where are you from ? Can you get it easily from a farm? Try it !! I am sure you will like it. Good Luck .....and God Bless!

The milk that is straight from the milk might have a different flavor, but it sure is a whole lot healthier than the store bought brand of milk since they add sugar and stuff before the milk is sent to the stores to be sold, and yes, it is a lot more delicious this way (straight from the cow that is).

Of course! I was grown up drinking it, and I still drink it to this day. To be honest, it's the only type of milk I've ever had. I heard that goat milk is pretty good, but for now I just like to stick to milk straight from the cow. When I was in elementary school, a young girl, (who lived on farm), would bring in a jar of fresh cow milk every day in her lunch box. I'm actually surprised she never got sick from it. These days milk has to be fully purified before you drink it.
But anyhow, to me it tastes delicious, and you might like it. Although, in my pre-teen years my family and I had to switch from regular cow milk to fat-free cow milk, which took me a VERY long time to get used to the funny taste. It tasted like some sort of blood....*yuck*. I'd just recommend that you drink the regular first before the fat-free. It tastes a lot better!
So tell me, is goat milk good?

Wow, I never knew there were people that have never had cow milk. Where are u from? Well yes, I have grown up on cow milk and it is fairly tasty. Suppose to drink a lot of it cause it is rich in calcium. Good for the bones and teeth. But It is an ingredient that is used in a lot of foods in America. Ice Cream, yogurt, put it in oat meal, eat it with cereal and so on. . . I have to say I never had goat milk though.

I think you meant "unpasteurized cow milk."
Yes I have - it's the tiniest bit thicker than whole milk, more fattening, and it's like liquified ice-cream that's not really all that sweet - but it is a tiny bit.
There are SOME people who are lactose intolerant who can drink it.
