I would believe that it could be the hardest depending on who broke up with who. Sometimes with the first relationship that gets serious, we can believe that we are in love and truly not be. If I broke up with the person first then I have made my mind up that it just didn't work. This is not saying that it doesn't hurt to be disappointed. However, my experience proves to me that much later in my life I had a break-up with a guy that I know I am still in love with. This was not my first but my most significant. I still miss him very much. My heart would drop to the sidewalk should I pass him walking by today. Hope this helps..

Unfortunately, no.
It depends on the person. Some get really into the first relationship expecting a lot out of it, but then feel rejected when it doesn't go that way. Afterwards they may expect less out of relationships.
Some expect a lot out of each relationship they go into, and they get let down just as much each time.
And some don't ever expect anything out of a relationship, so they don't ever get let down when there's a breakup.

Yes it is the most difficult. After that one, subsequent breakups are painful too but you know from experience that the pain does subside over time.

Dude, If your first love was a true love, She may be with you the rest of your life ! Or not, depending on the type of person you are. But speaking for "the sentimental fools club" you just learn to live with it ! Kenny M.

i agree with that, you would shed a lot of tears in it, probably it would take weeks to recover, coz you wouldnt know unless you experienced right?.. but after that you'd just laugh at it.. i assure.. after you had moved on is the best part..
