Been there before... I am 13, my ex and I had a rumor going around that I slept with him. His friend started the rumor, and my ex went along, because he WISHED. I mean, come on, I'm only 13!
Anyways, if you have good friends, they will stand up for you and tell other people that they know you better than that.
Friends are usually the ones who help us get out of these situations. Just tell them about it, and I'm sure they will help.
As for me, I had terrible friends who would sarcastically say,"Omg, did you REALLY sleep with him?"

It depends on what kind of rumors are being spread. Ignore them until they pop your temper. If this happens, tell everybody off that the rumor is not true. If you have many friends (and I bet you do) there is nothing to worry about. They will have your back and even if you don't have that many buddies your still a terrific person for ignoring the rumor and continuing life. Good luck bud.

people do those things because they get jelous and they know it gets to you . Ignore them and don't act in any way like the rumor and soon people will realize the rumors are false.

Rumors will run their course. You can't stop them. If you try you look guilty. You know the truth and so should your true friends, the rest don't count.
