I have been given certain Spiritual tools to help me enhance my Spirit Growth, what if I don't utilize them?

If you have to ask what Spiritual Growth is and what the Tools are, you will not be able to answer this question. No offense meant. Please don't take it offensively.

May I ask what spiritual tools (a body?) and what you mean by Spirit Growth? Even without understanding the question I could truthfully answer that apparently your Spiritual Growth would be frustrated. But that doesn't make sense for "growing" is not what spirit does. So perhaps you could be a bit more specific...?

I am a free self realized spirit and I never needed any tool to realize what I am. Furthermore spirit is what we ARE, not what we HAVE. Finally, spirit cannot be described in terms of size so "growth" is nonsense. I do not feel offended at all, nor mean to offend, but do YOU know what "Tools" you mean and how spirit is supposed to "grow?"

... well first do a self diagnostic and if all appears well, one could ask themselves if these are the right tools for them? Everyone gets there in their own way, in their own time. Everything even complacency can be a teacher, a stage of personal evolution.

Some times things just need time to incubate. Just because we don't see it, doesn't mean it isn't happening.

The real question is, why one is not using them? Inner work? It is all one. Check those serotonin levels. LOL! ;-)Laughter is good, smiles are good, check happiness levels. Sometimes people just get discouraged. Sometimes we think the spiritual high is a one way and suffer when we can't stay in that staight. Everyone is an individual.

If you leave your tools in the shed, they get rusty, and weeds spring up... Each of the gifts contains a lesson. When the lesson has been attained, you are prepared to receive the next gift. There is always a choice to turn it down, if you wish, but progress is slower then. The same lesson may be presented another way at a later time.... It's the difference between walking there, when you had an opportunity to learn how to drive instead, both ways will get you there eventually....

All spiritual tools destroy the false, funny isn't it? The ego gets deflated until we realise it was made up. To wake up is to know the truth of life. Now we can lay the tools down. Not to use the tools the world dream or nightmare continues. Once a person has begun to awake it is impossible to turn back. ~ : )

It will be very sad if you don't use them. "Use it or lose it" as the saying goes. Not only will you miss out on experiencing the most beautiful thing there is - spiritual development - but other people will miss out, too, because you could have helped them.

I think that, as beatlefan and Pangel's back say, such things are 'an offer you can't refuse'.

So if you don't use the tools provided, then further opportunities will present themselves until you 'get the message.'

Why? Because the 'Universe' is benevolent and wants us to Grow. For that is our nature, isn't it? And we can hardly say no, can we?
