blading will only stimulate the abs isometrically. to effectively stimulate a muscle it must be exercised over it's entire range of motion.

Roller Blading is practically the perfect workout~! It works EVERYTHING equally well. Unless you fall frequently, it is also a very desirable low or no impact sport: the best of all conceivable worlds in sports. You will have the BEST physical condition around if you do it regularly.

Oh yes, especially the lower portions. Can't you feel the burn??? If not, start adding some more twisting motions with your arms.
