YES because of Jesus and what he did on the cross by dying for our sins in accepting Him into out Lives as Savior and Lord and knowing HE is the way the truth and the life this is how you obtain salvation not by works of our own but By his amazing and Sovereign grace.

Repenting of ones sin is not a one shot deal everyday we should all be repenting and growing to the Lord. My pastor past away 4 years ago and He said if you are a Christian and you don't repent you are phony and not genuine.

I live my life the best I can with Jesus in the center. My husband says you must seek Him fist daily and it is a daily fight to be a godly christian. We are not married just so we can have *ex we are married to also and foremost Glorify God and use our marriage to bless and encourage others.
We are put on this earth for a purpose to serve God and use the gifts and talents and abilites to serve the Lord.

I know the Bible is God's unfailing, inerrant word of God. And because of Jesus, I am ready to go to heaven. I try daily to do my best for Him because I don't want to fail Him or what He has begun in me. Am I perfect? Hardly. I'm not where I want to be, but thank God I'm not where I used to be either. He's brought me so far in this walk with Him--and I believe He will continue working in me until the day He calls me home. He is faithful. I am always leery of those who claim to be living a wonderful perfect life before Him, and who have all the right "Christian" words/slang. I will never be perfect or claim to know everything concerning God, but I know He saved me, He loves me, He can be trusted , and with His help I will stand before Him one day clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ my Savior.

The word "ASSuME" has three hidden words in it.

no/yes/maybe/sometimes

(when it comes to the subject of salvation from your just punishment by receiving JESUS as your LORD and SAVIOR,
assuming is a VERY dangerous thing)

( QUOTE "Assuming the Bible IS Gods unfailing Word" should be changed to >>> SINCE THE BIBLE IS GOD'S UNFAILING WORD. ) (OR ELSE YOU ARE AN AGENT OF DOUBT)

Believe IN THE LORD JESUS.

Hey my Brother,
No doubt about it, The Bible IS God's unfailing WORD. The world has come too late to try to tell me different, God has reveled Himself to me too many times through His WORD for me to take issue with it.

Am I ready to go to Heaven should I die today ? Yes, I am. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior, and LORD 35 Years ago.

An old Pastor of mine, Mike Brooks, used to tell me that I must always keep "Short Accounts" with God. What does that mean ? Simply, that we must walk in a spirit of repentance. I endeavor to remain "Prayed Up" at all times, and be repentant. I'm a Man, I will Sin, so I must repent.

Am I living my life as Jesus would have me live ? Wow ! I wish I could say yes, but in all honesty, I know that I fail to live my life as Jesus would want me to. I have often failed Him in my life, and still fail to live up to my potential in Jesus Christ. The good that I would do, that I do not do, and the evil that I would not do that I do ! I am encased in a body of flesh that wars against the Spirit of God with in me, Oh that I could be delivered from this body of Sin ! But I have the hope that as I serve Him, He will perfect me, and complete the good work He has begun in me !
God Bless you my Brother !

Yes, I am ready to go to Heaven if I died today. I have really repented of my sins. I'm living as Jesus would have me live my life by taking classes to become an ordained minister.....working towards the call He has placed on my life to be a missionary....no matter how long it takes to get to where He wants me to be.

Yes it is. Yes I am(spiritual checkup-yeah I repented right after work for judging someone).

Yep regularly. Confessing my sins one to another, sometimes a priest sometimes a trusted sister in Christ(a friend not a nun).

Yes, as best I can, but all sin and fall short of the glory of God.

I refuse to boast, but i believe I am plugged into where God wants me to be and what He wants me to be doing more than ever before in my life.

I still get the small things wrong like I should be doing more cleaning right now(moment of conviction!), instea

I have absolute certainty that I am going to heaven. Not by anything that I have done, the bible says that's impossible, but because of everything that Jesus has done. Our salvation is by grace alone, not by works, and by faith in Christ Jesus.

No, but I try daily to be what God wants me to be and that is to be the best me I can be. Have good morals, class, dignity, and not lower them for anyone or anything. I must depend on God for my all more and more every day. And I feel if I keep this up and do better, I will make it to what we call heaven.

I've been working on it over 36 years - ever since Jesus Christ interrupted my meaningless existence and caused me to become a born again child of God.
I've come "a might long way", but God is still working with me getting the rest of the wrinkles out.

12Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. Philippians 2:12-13

Stone rolled - despite a lifetime of regular participation in a Christian Church I cannot make the first assumption. I do believe the Bible was divinely inspired, but I also believe it was written by human beings to record history and express powerful emotions. Any written record of history has bias included (the cliche that history of the world is written by the winners of the battles). Similarly the attempt to convey a personal spirituality in words is akin to using a toothpick to dig the foundation of a house - words are inadequate.

As to the other three questions - I am willing to live with the mystery of death. I do believe something happens after people die, but I do not begin to imagine that I know what that is - much as a babe in the womb. I do make amends where I feel they are needed. I try to emulate the actions of Christ in offering unconditional (read that as saying unconditional, by which I mean unconditional) love to all beings on this fragile earth, our island home.
Peace
