i need a song for my singing school. a sing off is when two people sing against each other to get the crowd on their side

Something like 'Close Every Door' from Joseph the musical would be a very powerful sing off song.

In the recent film version of "The Phantom of the Opera" starring Gerard Butler, Emmy Rossum, and Patrick Wilson, in the final half hour or so, the Phantom (Butler) and Raoul (Wilson; Christine's fiancee) have a song dual that is breathtaking and very powerful. There are small parts in which Christine sings, but those could probably be removed or replaced with male vocals. It is also rather lengthy so you may consider doing only a section of it or piecing bits together. Here are the lyrics in their entirity:

As I said lengthy, but it really is powerful because a lot of that overlies so you sing together but sing totally different things! You could probably find somewhere online to listen to it or you could borrow the soundtrack from someone. If you like something powerful and more in the style of a musical, this would be really interesting, I think.

try a well known song that's upbeat and can get the crowd going.Beyonces crazy in love always got me first place in sing offs but a male singer try something like usher or if your not in to rnb try green day etc.
