My kitten(this was a one kitten litter) is two weeks old and his mom has just gone into heat again. She doesnt really want to feed him anymore and Im getting scared that he doesnt have enough to eat. I live in the country and I cant really go to the vet anytime I want. Is there some kind of easy to make home made formula to supplement what little he gets to eat. I have milk, mayo, eggs, and stuff. But I dont have yogurt or gelatin, or anythink like that. What can I use?

This is the milk recipe I am currently using for my kittens.
3 oz condensed milk
3 oz water
4 oz plain yogurt (not low fat)
3 large or 4 small egg yolks - no whites

Mix all ingredients well. Microwave until warm, not to hot. Do not keep for longer then 72 hours at a time. It will get spoiled.

For now you can feed him milk mixed with water. Do not do this for to long. Cats have trouble digesting cows milk.

I would buy some KMR (kitten milk replacement) and not try some homemade stuff, could do more harm than good.

p.s. Get the mom spayed!
