I don't think the U.S. should be in Iraq either, let me just say that first please. I understand your "gripe" with that. I think you may be confused with the history of Jesus though, he was killed by the Jews, even though Jesus was a Jew. He said he was the son of God and to the Jews that was blasphemy. Ponscious Pilot washed his hands of Jesus. He did not want to kill Jesus but the crowds of Jews begged and demanded Jesus death. Not wanting a riot the Roman Government did what the Jews wanted and crucified Jesus. The same reasons you gave about the middle east having so many cultures there and how holy it is there is why there is so much war there. Everyone is fighting over it. It's sad and we can only hope that people come to their senses and stop fighting. With that being said I hope the Palestinians get more land for their people too. I hope one day Jews and Palestinians, Sunni's and Shites, Catholics and Protestants, and the whole world can get along and save this planet from humans environmental destruction.

Well the middle-east question is very complicated, and most would argue that it's not a question of just stopping - not when many people think they are being opressed in the status quo.
The Roman question is easier. 'Constantine I' was the first Christian emperor, and as such made Christianity entirely acceptable in Roman culture. In fact, from that point on the Romans did a huge amount for Christianity, and took it to places that otherwise never have heard of it.
Also, according to the Bible, Pontius Pilate had huge doubts and regrets about crucifying Jesus. The story says that he was under immense pressure from the local radical Jews who claimed Jesus was a fake - which is just one reason why Jews have such a hard time today.

Hi, this is what is supposed to happen, have you ever been to a Bible study where they studied the book Revelation? Its interesting at best that even for the unbeliever, when you start reading the book and understanding what exactly it is saying, its really easy if you know the New Testament, that you will see that everything that is happening over there is supposed to... i know its sad but there's a purpose in it that is bigger then history or relics... look for the US to step down the latter and for the EU to take the number 1 position and for there to be a leader everyone loves who creates world peace, he works for the EU... he is the antichrist, i know the word antichrist sounds mythical and silly but watch and see, all i can say is keep your eyes open... were so close :)

Um, yeah, that's quite a rant.
People do stupid things in the name of religion (or oil, or...).
The world has already learned a lot from the Arab culture. Hundreds of years ago, when their empire stretched to the Atlantic, they could be tolerant of other cultures, and contributed much to art, literature, mathematics, etc.
The Romans also contributed much to civilization.
The world has also suffered due to extreme elements of Arab culture, as it has from Roman culture, and most of the others.

the holy land is filled with Christians, Jews, and Muslims all in disagreement over the land, there might always be conflict since they don't agree with each others religion. Its sad, but true.
As for the romans killing Jesus, well Jesus allowed himself to be crucified, because of his love for us, yet on the third day, He rose from the dead and is alive evermore!

You don't make a lot of sense. You say that your eyes are open? Well can't you see whats going on? Don't confuse God with people. God doesn't change but people do.

You need to forgive and move on. Accept the things you cannot change and change the things you can. Venting can be a good thing.
