Not in my bible is isnt unloving, Jesus Himself spoke of it, Peter wrote of it, Paul wrote of it, John wrote of it. All of whom were filled with the Spirit of the loving God. So then why do so many unlearned christians go along with the modern day political correct thinking that it is somehow a hateful thing to now to warn of Gods coming wrath, and to warn them that they must escape it by trusting in Jesus? To me, its shows less love for an individual to not tell them, and to let them go on their way thinking all is hunkey dorey. Yeah, like it would have been more loving for the weather channel man to have sat on the fact that hurricane katrina is gonna hit gerogia and lousiana. Flee? From the path of a category 5 hurricane? What? Why are you so filled with hate toward us all Mr Weatherman? Love me, tell me the sky will be blue always. Sounds like a bunch of you need to start reading the Holy Scriptures more so you can get the love of God in your hearts for those that are perishing.

I hear you loud and clear and I agree totally. Since the early seventies there's been this ongoing "God is love and He Loves ALL people" nonsense that is so ingrained into the collective conscious that to violate it meant the construction of "hate speech" laws. It's a play on people's sense of "fairness" and pity. I'm shocked at the number of young believers today who think that it's ok for any and all religious beliefs, no matter how much they are against sound biblical doctrine, to be given equal status and validity right alongside biblical Christianity. I wrote and submitted an earlier response to just this phenomena to explain what religious pluralism was and how dangerous it is for Christians to ascribe to it. We live in a relativistic society where truth is not absolute because truth is now considered to be defined solely by personal experience and not universal standards of those which have been in place for thousands of years and were accepted because they were based on God's word which is infallible, like it or not. It's that new-age thinking that all roads lead to the same mountain of God. Right. The Anabaptists, whose severed heads placed on pike sticks lined the road for thirty miles going into Rome during the days of the Roman Empire, would beg to differ. So would the thousands of innocent Christians thrown to the lions or burned alive as Roman candles to light Nero's garden parties. As for these modern hedonists who blaspeme and hate Christians, true Christians (The Wheat), their days of darkness are coming.

It is "unloving" because it is extremely obnoxious, not to mention horrendously rude.

Not everyone is a christian. Not everyone believes your god is even real. The fact of the matter is, many people are perfectly content to live their lives following the religious teachings that are meaningful and helpful to them.

There are many religions that regard your bible's teachings as evil. Do you hear people chanting in the streets about it? Do you turn on your television and see an entire network devoted to pointing out the inherent flaws in your religion? No, you don't, because we practice restraint--we save our battles for the important things in life.

When you come up to someone on the street and begin your proselytizing, you are basically saying to that person:

"Listen up. I don't know you, but I want you to know that I have no respect whatsoever for your beliefs. Your religion is stupid and wrong, and you will know an existence of pain and suffering if you do not follow our teachings."

The next time you start preaching to a person about your god's wrath, I really do hope someone punches you in the face. You deserve no less.

He has been sending warnings for years. all of us is in simple terms refusing to work out the warnings. How a lot more advantageous can we want? God is exhibiting His mercy through retaining back His wrath, notwithstanding, sometime it is going to likely be right here. How a lot more advantageous does God ought to do to get human beings's interest? go searching and observe His warnings that are wrapped up in His love for us. He might want to come the following day and the probabilities might want to be throughout, notwithstanding, He has no longer been lacked in warnings, all of us is in simple terms lacks in listening to and obeying , and coming to entice close Christ.

I understand your motive but you need to understand that not everybody is on the same page as you. I believe more people would follow Christianity if it's believers would "show, not tell".

The Muslims and Jehovah Witness claim they have the true God ... all religions think they are the only right one ... trust me, you're no different.

There is nothing wrong with warning people of the end times and of death and destruction. But Jesus doesn't want it done in a judgemental, wrathful, hateful, rude or obnoxious way. You can get a message across with love and compassion much more than you can with hatefulness and rudeness. Jesus does all things in decency and in order not chaos and confusion. Sometimes that's the difference between winning a soul for Christ and completley losing them all together.

Unloving? I don't know. I do know it's disrespectful. You see, people have many different beliefs. When you insist that they adhere to yours, your showing disrespect. This makes people angry, and rightfully so.

On another note, the "end times" have been right around the corner for 2 thousand years. We're still here. Kinda strange wouldn't you say?

And you're hardly a weatherman. You are certifiable though :)

Katrina didn't hit Georgia.
Hurricanes aren't sent by god to punish sinners -- no matter what pinhead preachers like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell say. Hurricanes are natural occurrences, just like tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions. You'd think in this day and age, rational human beings would know this instead of saying it's "god's wrath".

When Jesus said we would be known by our good deeds. He did not say by Go tell the people they are damned. Influence is important and actually caring about the people, even the least of men, we do it for the Lord. As Jesus said. Lift others up in the way they should go. Not to tell they are going to hell. When you are asked about your belief then you should give what god says about it.If not asked and you are knocking people down into a sinner classification only then you are tearing down.
Are your words building others up, you do the Lord's work
If your words are tearing down, then you serve the destroyer.
Peace, grace, mercy are more powerfull than judgment.

During the latter part of the Modern/Scientific Age. People felt that science was the answer to all life's problems. But it has failed us. We now have MORE problems. So, the Modern Age has passed and we are now in the Post-Modern Age, which is a direct reaction to the failure of the Modern Age. But the Post-Modern Age has its own theme: there is no absolute truth. If your God and religion works for YOU, good for you!! But don't try to force that upon ME!!

People had a belief that the year 2000 would be the wrath year. Similar thoughts in year 1000. I'm holding out for 2012 personally, becuase that's the end of the Mayan calendar of over 5600 years. It's the 'End of Time'. Let's see what happens THEN!
