Some fats are needed for your body to function correctly. There are good fats, like the ones found in certain vegetables such as avocados. Then there are the bad fats that you never need. Trans fat which is the worst are found in things like twinkies, french fries, potato chips etc.

To answer your question some fats are good for you. You need to pick the correct ones.

definetly...fats are essential nutrients that the body must have to function properly. just about every degenerative disease has been linked to either an insufficient fat intake of the right fats or the bodies inability to metabolize certain essential fats

yes and no, yes because it helps you to grow, but it becomes unhealthy if you have alot of it!
